Probably not this week...Dave is out of transfer case cores and he needs to send his driveshaft out figure out where the vibration is coming from. Oddly enough, he never had issues with transfer case breakage until the aluminum driveshaft went on the car.

Yeah, not running the car again untill the shootout!!! I got the stock driveshaft and tcase off of ben's old red laser, and will be putting that stuff on tomorrow.

There has been a hx40 2g that has trapped 139mph. I know this car has that trap in it very easily but has not yet seen it.

The only really fast things ive found hx40 powered that werent DSMs are an rx7 in sweden running 11s with his...and a TT hx40 truck doing like 10s or something....so maybe....fastest hx40 CAR in the WORLD!!!! ha. lets nto get ahead of ourselfs tho, we need more research.

with that t3 set-up, may I ask what rpm full boost is achieved by? I have the FP race mani with small dsm housing that sees 25psi at 4000rpms, stock cams.

Your Talon looks like a beaut! I just got the FP 68HTA solely for the easy bolt on upgrade, but if I had a T3(/T4?) setup I'd definitely go for this turbo.

Btw have any HP & TQ numbers?

So far the trans is shifting great, I have made around 10 passes this year and around 30 passes last year! It was sent up to shep this past winter for a welded center diff and a freshen up... Its for sale this fall cause I'm going with a PPG shep dogbox for next year, but I think jusmx141 has dibbs on it!

I have no HP and TQ numbers, not sure if I even ever want to know..

Its getting a cage in it very soon, maybe before the shootout.

Yeah could you imaging breaking something dumb like a ball joint at 140+ hitting the and possibly rolling over. Yikes thats why I have a little protection with the autopower bolt in. Its better than nothing I guess. I picked it up for $100 off of Brad Gary.

Nope i know this for sure. A local guy with a evo8 is in the low 10's. Alot of people that street race do not post clips or times.

Are they really that un-streetable (as long as it isn't a "quick shifter" set-up)? I feel like its more up to the driver than the dogbox. But then again, I don't own one

I'm very excited to see an HX-40 set-up running well! Kudos to all of those involved with the car and best of luck at this year's shootout.

For some unknown reason, my pc hasn't let me get on to tuners in a couple days and now i come on to find this! Holly cow man, congratu-freakin-lations! That's epic for the Holset dsm community. I'm hoping you'll be at the 3rd anual NE meet on the first. That thing is begging for 9's now. Keep it up Dave! When you said the shoot out, did you mean Ohio, or the showdown in NJ? I'll be at the showdown in NJ, prob not racing, but we'll see.

Oh yeah, I would think so with all that is still left in it!
We still have, 10 more PSI, A little more timing, We are uping the rev limit to 9500rpm's, Also if I can get it on a dyno, there is 50 more hp in the cam adjustment!
It might not happen at the Ohio shootout, but I think it can be done at my local dragway in the fall...
