Great night tonight went home with no broken parts!!! No 9s pass, I was tring to figure out the best rpms to launch at without breaking shit!!! Then I was having problem with going in to second gear!!!

Thanks guys! I am so happy with the car this year, the new 2g race head, JmF drag intake, and Kelford 280 cams really paid off this year! I think I'm going to have to send the trans up to shep, cause 2nd gear is being a bi***!

I know how you feel! We do pulls in my car and were running upwards of 130 :/ I hate it

Yea, no more of that for me, its hitting the dyno from now on!
I plan on coming down that way sometime with Gabe to cruise around, I will let you know when we're coming!

I was thinking last night on the way home, You may benefit some if we enable No lift to shift. It will almost certainly let you hit 2nd easier... you just have to get some practice with it to get used to the way it feels....I wonder if there would be any benefit to a clutch adjustment as well.....

Either way...congrats man I'm glad it came together as hoped... was a little worried at first ;-)

It was awesome to watch that car scream down the track last night. Dave's was the fastest street car at the track Can't wait to see the 9 seconds pass which she easily has in her.

This is all on Dave's first trip to the track after some new mods- we honestly had no idea what to expect.

First run of the night was just a 3rd-4th pull to see where the boost was going to be and what the AFR's would look like. He literally went through first and second gears like he was pulling out from a stoplight....and the car still trapped 135mph. We knew it was going to be a good night.

Run #2 was supposed to be a balls-out run, but with the new mods he had no idea what RPM to set his launch at....so the car bogged and dropped totally out of boost in first gear. Trapped 144.94.

Run #3 had a perfect launch but he messed up a little and went against the rev limiter in first gear which locked him out of second.

Run #4 was the best of the night, although he was trying to stay away from the rev limiter in first and it resulted in him dropping out of boost going into second. Still walked away with a 10.3 and blew away the previous 1/4 MPH of a HX40 by over 6mph.

My junkyard turbo is catching up to those $2000 beasts!

Forgot to add: boost around 37psi, Q16 fuel, around 15psi in the QTP's (up from 12psi last year) to possibly help a little with breaking driveline parts.

Link was showing 71 lb/min and a shade over 700hp in the cool evening air.
