Normal Trap speed?

I was just curious what a normal trap speed on a T25 with Intake and full 3" exhaust would be? What would the difference in traps be for Fwd and Awd. i have a friend who says his awd gsx will trap 100 with the same mods as me. I know my talon will not trap that high. But he seems to be alot faster than me with the same mods. Only problem is that there isnt anything abnormal about my times. I hit a 14.7 sec 1/4 mile at 93 but he pulls on me hard off a second gear roll. He dosent have a MBC or anything just i/e like me. We both just bought our cars but it seems that his is faster but i am running normal times for my mods. His turbo looks the same as mine so i dont think its upgraded unless its a t28.....i just thought it was strange that he puts cars on me off a roll and we have the same mods and i am running what i should be running. Anyone care to shed some light on it for me?

I would trap around 94-95 mph with those mods, I did do 96.5 once and a friend of mine with a few more bolt-ons did 97.5mph, these are both AWD cars BTW a FWD car should be able to come close to 100mph.

Are noth cars 5 speed, or auto? Do you weigh more than your friend? There are a lot of reasons why he is pulling away from you. Maybe he's a better driver. What is your definition of "pulling hard" a car is not hard, 4-5 cars is pretty hard.

we both weight about the same and we also are pretty even drivers. he pulls about 3 cars on me from 40 to 100. Both cars are 5spd and we are both running stock boost. His car has 2.5" catback with cat while my car has 3" exhaust with no cat. I dont understand it. The only thing i can figure is whoever did the exhaust (bought the car with it) put 1 bend in it (to angle the muffler) and it isnt mandrel bent and tapers to about 2". I dont think it would make a 3 car difference though.

I cant trap over 87 mph if my life depended on it. From my very first run in the 16's to my best of 14.9 my trap speed is always 86-87 mph. It drives me crazy.

im trapping over 100MPH each time i race.. but christ man im gettin 2.6, 2.7 60FT times!!! :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown

my 1/4 times were 14.5, 15.1, 14.6... though i didnt lower tire pressure... i'll try that next time.. its also gettin pretty cold around here now.. so the tires dont grip much anyway... FMIC's are useless cuz the air is cold already...

guess i gotta wait till spring to get better 1/4 times
