Ricky's official diagnosis, he's just running outta fuel. He tried to squeeze in one more pass but wound up snapping an axle. He seemed interested in coming back next weekend so maybe we'll see some 9's before he turns in for the year.

If you're using a Bullseye Power DSM bolt-on turbine housing, you'll see full boost at nearly the same RPM as the E57 but with peak airflow potential of roughly 10-12 lb/min additional with the HX40.

The key to making power with the HX40 is boost level....if you're not ready to run 30+psi, you're not ready for a HX40. Same goes for other mid-sized turbos like the BW S3xx and PTE SC6x6x turbos.

The one I got is a 56mm 6 blade with the Bep mitsu bolt on housing. I will be planning on running around 30 psi on water/meth after I get it tuned well.
