Got this off of David Buschur several years ago when he was clearing room on the showroom walls. I’ve had it wrapped away in plastic for 7-8 years, found a good spot to hang it today. Wish I would’ve got a few of these. This one is Shep’s 1gb...

115 is too much.PER ARP"The recommended torque spec is given to ensure the stud does not yield out and remains reusable. Having said that, you can increase the torque spec 5-10ft-lbs but you will be very close to the yield point.Thanks...

Time serts machined in the head, ARP L19 studs, with a permatorque gasket and that head wouldn't go any where at 40+ psi.

I got around to doing this last night. OH MY, this mod is so bad ass, my whole car went instantly side ways burning through 2nd when launching at 30psi at like 50 mph. This is a complete racing game changer. My settings were all the same as...

Like someone had mentioned, it really depends on how you intend to drive it. If that 400 horsepower is your only goal you could do that no problem with the stock 2g intake manifold.

If your Baer big brake kit was anything like mine or any other Baer big brake kit that used the PBR corvette sliding caliper that you referenced, then yes I would say that the rotor was indeed a Baer one-off simply because the rotor would fit...

Cylinder walls can crack around 800 whp, it's not if, but when.1/2 fills still crack the block where the wall isn't supported by the cement, but you can drive them on the street. I wouldn't half fill a block personally, you have different...

ist dwa replied to the thread HKS 280/280 Cam card?.
Well the DSM 272s were designed and developed in 1990 while the 280s for both cars were made at the same time in the early 2000s. They are the same.

"I think it’s from not seating the thrust bearing. "That doesn't even make sense. I'll say it once more, crank walk is an oil pressure problem. You can't seat the thrust bearing incorrectly. Crank walk is not enough oil pressure on the...

The only way to Crank walk a 6 bolt is to mess with oil pressure which you did when you spun that stupid BS bearing. This is what caused all of this.I think I posted to you about using balance shafts

This was a change for 2gs as I am finding out. I had never heard of this for 1gs, there is nothing in the service manual but there is for 2gs. Obviously Mitsu figured something out and made a change, chalk one up for 2gs being better than...

I followed the Service Manual instructions and my turbo bolts have not loosened. I used 8 coned disk spring washers (Mitsu part number MR187848). Use two washers per bolt. There is a dimple on the side of the washer that faces out. The dimpled...

On each of the washers should be some dots/depressions/bumps/etc. These face out. So, manifold->washer with dots down->washer with dots up->turbo bolt. They're sort of like a lock washer.

The EPA has been drunk on power for years and years now, they need to be put back in their place or better yet replaced with something else that is more transparent and mainstream.
