Hes barely ever on here, but I will see if he can load up a log.Can you say knock. I would love to see a log of this car!
Not sure if this was asked but what is the race weight of your 1g?
What is Gabe using to tune his car?

Click the "go advanced" tab at the bottom of the reply box.
Once you get to the next page, there is a box in the "additional options" column that says "upload / edit photos". Click that, then search for the file on your computer....upload it, and it will be attached to the thread when you complete your response.

! but i might test my luck on street tires. ( 3 bolt record?)as of now its a mid to low 130 car judging by the cars i have beaten :X street race sorry.

I already asked Ricky and he claims that Gabe isn't too eager to share a log.
Not necessarily- some people are just that way about sharing their tuning tips. Ask Nate Silveri to share any of his logs publicly and you'll get a similar response. That tells me the tune looks like shit and he does not want people to see it.
[QUOTEThe best part about Gabe's accomplishment was he ran his time with the ground strap broken completely off of the spark plug in the #1 cylinder!

I can't wait until next year!

Look, I'm not trying to make anybody look bad here...obviously Gabe is doing something right to take a $200 Cummins diesel turbo that nobody had the faith to try and make it power a DSM to a 133.5mph trap speed on 93 octane pump fuel. This isn't some lightened race car....it's his daily driver- he's literally going to drive it all winter. The car has the full interior, the hatch was full of parts and tools and the spare tire was still in the car.If these tuning tips result in melting spark plug electrodes, he can keep them!

The bottom line is if you want to ask him about his tune, send him a PM or an email....don't make assumptions. It just seems rude to me that because of one melted plug people are assuming Gabe doesn't know how to tune. Maybe he was a little lean or had too much timing and that is going to be corrected for the next run. Basically it's like me assuming that someone can't drive based on the fact that their car dynoed 658whp but they only ran a 12.05 at the track.
The question was why he didn't want to post a log, and the assertion is that it was likely because there was either knock or a disabled knock sensor leading to the resultant spark plug image. I don't understand what the problem is here--if this is not true, then why doesn't this person respond himself? Instead, why does someone with your position feel the need to do this for him?
