No problems with cracking or leaking with that setup? I'd be concerned about the amount of leverage produced by the engine vibrating a mass of solid fittings that far outboard, with nothing to dampen it.

We're running 1200's on VP110 in Dave's car, possibly stepping up to Q16 soon. Currently at 30psi with the HX40 we're seeing around 60% duty cycles, which I'm sure will go up as the boost climbs.
If you have Link I see no reason not to run at least 1200's, possibly 1600's if you can get a good deal on them somewhere.
Sure....when it's not running 10's it likes to break driveshafts.Nice. Thanks for the help. Any more info on that car?
I'm sure you don't have to have 30 fittings just for one oil pessure gauge ill figure it out thanks anyway.I have no leaking. Ive been on city streets (bumpy), been through monster thunder storms, and speed of up to 90 MPH for the past 600 miles that I've had this setup and no issues. My car is also lowered 1.3 inches with the Prokit....
You want simple? Go install a 14b, no need for a gauge.
But seriously, it's not that hard to do.
I didn't know the more complicated my oil pressure gauge set up was the better my turbo worked. That's news to me. Ill post up pics when I'm done with my gauge setup. And I'm sure you don't need a functioning Holset.
Good luck.

Im sure your setup works great but you did over complicate things a little bit. All I did was separate my oil line and place this in-between them.
JEGS Fuel Pressure Gauge In-Line Adapter Fittings - JEGS
Who said anything about a complicated gauge benefiting a turbo? I used my fittings because I trust my suppiler (ExtremePSI) in a FAST shipment rather than the other supplier, JEGS, which is located in OHIO. Ive had stuff from them and they took forever. Do what you want, that's the cool thing about having freedom. All I did was depict what I did to my setup WHICH WORKS. I never tried to shove my idea down anybody's throat. Most posts on here are people demonstrating what they've doing with their cars anyway. Hell, this entire site is based on DIYers and we wouln't have Holset turbos on DSMs if it wasn't for that. Let's not fill this thread full of nonsense. If you don't like the idea for any reason, then simply don't utilize it. No hard feelings.
As stated above, I dont deal with JEGS much because their shipping service isn't as great as Extreme. Oh and my idea as well as the guy who posted your link has been shown in this thread earlier. Why would I help out nfernotalon even more by posting the JEGS link again since he didnt even bother to read the previous pages to notice that my idea had already been posted as well as the one with the JEGS fittings? Dont take it as I'm bashing you.
Oh and you can't get easier than that JEGS fitting for a gauge. Good find.

Thanks for posting up the jegs link again I appreciate it. Extreme psi is awesome on shipping and prices. Not at all just wanted to make it easier for him and others to find. Do agree with extremepsi being far better at shipping.
what do you guys think of a HX35 or HX40 in a T3 flanged .63AR housing non wastgated housing?
i have been spitballing with my local turbo shop about good setup with an hx35 thats affordable as well
im pretty sure this is what im going to try out next i might even get a free one (or really cheap) and have the car dyno'ed to see what a Hx35 can really do in this .63 ar housing
what do you guys think?

I have a 1.32 divided T3 I'd like to try. I PM'd you on the Link forums.
It'll take a lot of machining, but if you're getting the housing for free then you have some money to spend.what do you guys think of a HX35 or HX40 in a T3 flanged .63AR housing non wastgated housing?

What your eyes may not tell you is the depths are probably completely different....as in the Holset turbo may fit into the Garrett housing further, or not as far as the Garrett turbo did.actually it wont take much machining at all as ive held these in my hands and the .63 housing is real close to the hx35 wheel

Make sure you measure, and remeasure when you're ready to machine the housing. Screwing up the machining will ruin the turbo.
