Does any one no a good place to send the holset turbos to get rebuilt for some reason mines began to leak oil threw the exhaust housing last night while i was tuning it. not really sure why but it mostly happen when i was past 4k rpm.
DSMmonster it seems they use the 6 blade pro wheel im going to give them i call and see what they say on monday. if so i most likely will be going this rout with my H1E setup on my 2g. I once saw a H1e on ebay which was listed as a H1E compressor housing with a H1C turbine wheel in a 18cm housing. was supposedly rated to spool under 4k rpm and make 700+ Hp.
That's sad to hear. What turbine housing are you using?Well, I got the hx35 8 blade on, was really cake. But I am very sad to say my spool sucks. 18-20 psi by 5k and nothing until then.
Not really for a living; at least not yet, anyway.

I'm about to put a 6 blade HX-40 on my car with the .55 bep housing. I have 3 questions.
1. Will the stock exhaust manifold work with the bep housing or will i need a spacer?
2. How do you recommend connecting to the compressor housing outlet? If you know the correct V-band size that would be great.
3. What is the thread count and size of the adapter i will need to attach my oil feed line to the turbo?
thanks guys.

Pretty much just wondering if anyone has put a divided manifold on the stock t3 housing and what kind of spool they would see.

Way too much oil pressure?
ezz-e - any diesel performance shops should be able to rebuild for you, htturbo.com, citydiesel.net, I'm lucky to have a local Holset specialist shop I guess, tepturbos.com - you may give them a call as well, their prices are good. Where are you pulling oil from for the turbo? Running a restrictor? I know at least 2 locals who pulled oil from the filter housing and had smoking problems, too much pressure I think. I pulled mine from the head with no restrictor(no balance shafts on my 6-bolt either) and didn't have any smoking til the turbo blew from a giant boost leak.
I apologize- it could've easily been overlooked. I try not to let that happen, but I get anywhere from 6 to 15 new PM's per day....I try to respond to every one, but I'm only one man working basically two full-time jobs. Answering a constant barrage of tech questions and rebuild inquiries on here is full-time job #3, but in order for me to have full-time job #2, I must answer every question possible!jusmx141 I have pm you before but have never gotten a reply from you, please pm me im looking to get this turbo rebuilt.
