What Turbo is this? [Merged] Turbo ID Identification

I was thinking it was off a 3000GT also. But then again Im not sure. Its got a TD05 housing on the compressor side. What would your best guess be?

I honestly don't know what it is cause I haven't seen a shit ton of turbos and I don't spend a lot of time online looking at them either.

But I can say I am 100% sure it is not a stock 3000gt turbo. My VR4 was stock and the turbos compressor covers were not like that. And I think they were TD04 turbos.

Maybe that is a modified or hybrid one. I don't know.

The numbers on the intake side of the turbo are 49168-51700 also another number is 8L15.
Hotside is 49179-12400

So not sure if you can find anything as I have been searching GALORE.

JUSMX41 or whatever it is.

He is user on here. There is an entire thread dedicated to "Questions for Justin". He is really good with the turbos.

Yeah, thanks.

Standard non-gated TD06 turbine housing...most likely from an OEM diesel application:

Actually the 49168-51700 number you posted shows it to be the stock turbo from a 4D31 (Diesel) engine used in small excavators.

Compressor = unidentified.

If it's free, the turbine wheel and center housing would be useful for something. If you have to buy it, it will never benefit you in a positive manner without investing a ton of money.

Does Mitsubishi make the turbo for that small excavator? Because this turbo has the Mitsubishi logo on the hot side

I know it may be hard to see but here it is

Just now seen that second picture my computer didnt load it for some reason. But I see the Mitsu name on the valve cover now.

So would it be any upgrade for me to use it somehow with my car? Or not?

Considering the engine I posted was made by Mitsubishi as well, I think that it would be pretty safe to assume that's who built the turbo as well.

Yeah I didnt see that piture or info, computer didnt load that half. But could i use the internals in any application to benefit my car you think?

If your mod list within your profile is up-to-date, there's nothing this turbo or the parts it contains is going to do for you.

From my standpoint, I'd use the center housing and turbine wheel to build a customer a 20G....and scrap the rest.

I have a turbo I picked up really cheap all I know is it's a tdo5h housing other than that I don't know anything about it, if anyone can tell me what I have it would be great. I ran the numbers but it tells me different things like small 16g, big 16g I just wanna know what I have.
