So am I, and I know enough that you can't put a ball bearing GT turbine into a journal bearing T-style center housing. If it has a GT35R turbine, then the turbo itself is a GT35R and not a 6152.
You can port it until there's a hole in the side of the housing and it won't make the nozzle area or the critical area around the turbine wheel any larger or better-flowing.
In layman's terms, your funnel can be the size of a 55-gallon drum, but if the outlet is the size of a dime, that's the amount it's going to flow.
well why would anyone port their turbo then?

well check this out. you tell me. cause i dont know anything haha or else i wouldent be asking.

. Id definitely poke around the car and ask some more questions, like: Is the car completely stock other than the turbo? Make sure there arent any other junk parts on her. (Yes, I said junk and before anyone jumps in to defend that turbo, its no secret that these are a real hit or miss thing- some people get a few years out of them, some fail in very short order, and Ive known several people who just decided to guinea pig an Ebay special, including an ASE certified master tech and DSM expert, and they all failed inside of three months with massive in- out play and 007 smoke screen going down the road)
