A 20G with 550cc injectors and VPC? Hello blown motor.

Buschur Racing built it to 300 hp 10 years ago, and to this stage about 8 years ago, and it's been driven hard ever since. Leak down still good. Yeah, some dick sent an insulting e-mail. Kind of why I left this place. Too rude. The only reason the top was cut off, was because I bought Al Blaha's car and no use for a Talon with less than 600 hp. Losing the top made it worth hanging on to. It still beats Vipers. It's '95 Ford Probe purple. Some love it, some hate it. Most don't go off like on here. Whatever. Everyone has an opinion.

I had to have something to cover the cuts in the seat for the cage. Yes, the cage is poor. Since there never was a 1st generation Talon convertible, is it so wrong to cut the top off. Most like the look. The cage is a bit much, but it's a dish rag without it. The whole thing only cost a grand. No big deal. Who's complaining about the stock wing out there?

I already told the loser I've had hundreds of people make positive comments on it. It's been viewed by over 4,000 people, and I've had more than 20 e-mail with positive views, and questions, and of course the loser. I've been running Talons for a dozen years now. Funny how some kids get off on trash talk when the didn't have a permit when I was turning 11's. The car was in Turbo back in '96, or '97 for single picture when it had a top. My other Talon had a multi page article on it around the same time frame. It's was Al's then.

Have fun. I'll stay with my blown C5, and the crowd over there. And if it don't sell. It will have a 2nd engine added in a couple of years. I'm sure the same loser would e-mail on how stupid it is to have a pair of 500 hp motors in a Talon.

Just a little more info. The targa 1G was not built by Mitsu, they were bought by a European company and modded after the fact and sold for a premium. Same thing with the gullwing 1G cars in Japan, they were imported by a private company first then sold after being modified.

Just an update on this. I was working at DOW - Detroit Office & Warehouse (a DaimlerChrysler building near Dequindre & Davison), my boss says "Hey, come check this out..." We walk out back and there it is!!!! The Plymouth X2S coupe concept. It was just sitting outside! It had like 125 miles on it. It looks to be the same exact setup you'd find in a 90 Laser RS Turbo. Best of all - the exhaust routes out the rear bumper -- totally sweet looking.

I asked, and I can take pictures if/when I go back.

this is alittle bit off topic, but speeking of rare convertable DSM's, i know a guy who has a 2g convertable talon. He said they were sold in Canada, which is where he picked it up at. Just to let you guys know something you might not have already! +topless=

I dont think their was ever a Talon spyder. Someone more than likely just switched out the bumpers/lights since I've seen a few people do that before.

i dont know if it was considered a "spyder" or just a convertable talon(if theres a difference). And im pretty sure that they did make talon convertables to sell in cananda, and that its not just one with the bumpers and lights switched out. Ill do some research to find out for sure then let you know.
