On Saturday I painted my 2Ga Housings on my Talon black. I didn't know how they would look on a green car. But I went with it anyway. It turned out better than I thought. Makes the car look alot more aggressive. I have done this a couple times before so I knew what I was doing. Well here are some pictures.

BTW: Have a friend to give you a hand if you need it :thumb: You'll get it when you see the picture.

Heh, funny, I painted my housings black as well. Just finished actually. But I left the clear refractor out and painted the area directly behind that black. No pictures, but I think you know what I mean.

Heres some after pictures.

Infamous.....Our cars are twins. Almost. I just need a front mount. I really like the look of the front with out the fogs. Oh. I used some Mother Mag and Alum. Pollish on the inside and outside of the Lens. Helped out alot but I think they can be better.

Lookin good

Yeah I did mine a long time ago, does look a lot better I just wished I knew of the mothers mag aluminum polish to use on the inside of the lens. I wonder how clean it would be if I had used it...damn.

Ya but yours is AWD and mines not turbo anymore LOL but ya the black hosuing looks sooooooooooooooooooooooo much better then chrome- I'll probably do it on my 93 TSI

Looks good, especially with the orange cleared out. I would of painted the housing to match your car, I think that looks better, based on the custom headlights I've seen done on a green Eclipse.

I thought about it. But I didn't know how well it would turn out. But I stuck with black and I like it.

Im looking to buys some halo projectors and was wondering if black or chrome headlights look better on a white/black talon. thxs

Black FTW :thumb: I originally wanted the chrome ones but then saw a few cars with each (black and chrome) on and decided the black looks a lot better.

Here's 2 pictures I found quickly.

White 2G Eclipse - Black projectors

White 2G Eclipse - Chrome projectors

And in that last link, if you look at the 'Filmstrip' section below the main picture, you'll see another shot from the front.
