Convertible 1g dsm [Merged 11-7]

i dont know if it was considered a "spyder" or just a convertable talon(if theres a difference). And im pretty sure that they did make talon convertables to sell in cananda, and that its not just one with the bumpers and lights switched out. Ill do some research to find out for sure then let you know.

Is the car white? It's probably, oh now my age is showing, I can't remember his name for the life of me. He had a Spyder that was converted to Talon specs. It was originally an Eclipse though. There were no Talon verts built at the Normal plant.

That convertable talon in the link above is bad a$$! And as far as the canadian talons go, i couldnt they made in the IL plant, then when shipped to Cananda, they could have been modified? Somewhat like how Ford sends out the Mustangs, and they are then turned into the Saleens or Roush's? Next time i talk to this guy ill ask him about it. He is from Ohio.

I understand that you're new and the thought of bringing something new to the table seems exciting. If it were true don't you think that this, the most popular DSM site on the net, would hae information about it? I don't mean to be rude but your friend lied to you to make himself seem cooler. Just an update on this. I was working at DOW - Detroit Office & Warehouse (a DaimlerChrysler building near Dequindre & Davison), my boss says "Hey, come check this out..." We walk out back and there it is!!!! The Plymouth X2S coupe concept. It was just sitting outside! It had like 125 miles on it. It looks to be the same exact setup you'd find in a 90 Laser RS Turbo. Best of all - the exhaust routes out the rear bumper -- totally sweet looking.

I asked, and I can take pictures if/when I go back.

I never knew they made a factory 1G convertible prototype other than the really early one. This was at the 06 MOD in Illinois.
