TIA

Check the tech guide section under interior/exterior section. I think it's black housing clear corners--something like that. It's almost the same procedure for headlight housings too.

You can see what I did with mine before I cut it all to hell to make an intake. I never got around to painting the section behind the reflectors.

That looks good, should finish it bro.

I finished it in all black eventually, but since it's a completely spare headlight I made it a little more functional than it normally would be.

I did mine, but not exactly the way the vfaq said. I just took them out, sanded the silver off of the bottom, taped off everything but the top strip and bottom and then painted it with krylon fusion gloss black. They look great still, with out spending all of the time to take the lenses off of the housings.

That looks real clean cause it's a stock headlight with a lil modification to serve it's purpose.

Haha, lil modification. That damned thing took me over a month of working on it after work hours to get it finished up. :D

Why so long??? You don't know how to work with fiberglass?

No, I work about 45 hours a week and only had about 2 days a week to put any time towards it at all. Then a friend did the bondoing on it for me which took another week for him to get around to finish up. The first mold I made wasn't compatible with the resin I was using so I put a day or so into getting that made only to watch it crumble the instant I put resin on it.
