hey all, i was thinkin about doing a white/black theme on my laser, so i was thinking if there is any black headlight covers and if it legal in my state, also if it is wise to do this cuz of the turn signal. of there is any pics of this that would help me. Thax in advanced

I would say to get the tint instead, looks cleaner and nobody can rip them off.

Actually summit racing sells blackout in a spraycan from a company called vht. It is like $11.99. I didn't think that the actual covers look good enough to warrant the $90 price.

Oh and you can definately see through it when the turn signal/breaklights are on. Should be legal, it is in my state.

Thats the stuff im talking about, and nobody can just walk up and rip off the tint.

thanx for the info, but what is the prep to paint the headlights? do i have to open up the light and clean it or do i just spray it on the top of the light? have any of u guys done this before?

I can't find any pics, but TurboSpoonlins has this done to his car and it looks awesome..

The prep is extremely easy. I have not done it yet but I just got the vht paint can and the instructions are fairly simply. All you have to do is clean the lenses thoroughly then mask off and paint. Done. That simple. I get my car back on monday and should have pics later on in the week. In the mean time call summit racing.

If one were to black out thier tailights can i jsut buy a brighter brake/taillight bulb so it shows through more?
-Thanks
-Ben

its not needed. Your stock bulbs will come through just fine. Just clean the headlights real good. You have to put a good couple of coats of the tint on for them to get plack enough, but it looks pretty good.
