1ga fixed headlights

Okay, I've done some research and so far I haven't came up with anything. I want to do away with the pop-ups and turn the lenses into actual headlamps. Is this possible, and what would I need to do in order to convert them? I want to keep the same look but have them as functional lamps. Any help is greatly appreciated.

i have seen a thread on here where they did a sealed projector set up where the "fake" headlights are.

I don't quite get want your trying to do...

So you don't want to swap to 1gb lights?

And your wanting to make it that your lights are on when the pop-ups are down and therefore shine out the front lenses?

I do want to get rid of the pop-up assembly all together
I do want to convert the stock lenses into a functional headlight assembly

Ive seen where the buckets were done in plexiglass and showed projectors underneath. You mean like that?

I have read/heard of attempt to mold the 93-97 rx-7 lights into out housings. It would require cutting, and custom fabrication. I think it would be an interesting and unique look
