What Turbo is this? [Merged] Turbo ID Identification

I can't seem to find any information on this turbo at all. So far all I've been told from the people that have seen it is that it's an older turbo that's not made anymore but no one can tell me what it is, any ideas?

I thought it would be backwards..I gave it a shot..Nice diagram, thats getting saved..

Why are they backwards? What I'm saying is why change inducer and exducer on each whell reversed..

In = enter, ex = exit. It's where the airflow enters and exits each wheel.

Some Garrett hybrid- uses a T04B cover because the actuator is mounted directly to the cover instead of to the hold-downs like a T04E.

That's all I can tell you without wheel specs.

It doesn't look like a stock 13g to me..Also idk WTF up up with that 02 housing..

I could be a knock off, because sumone must have shaved the numbers off of the plate...

What does the turbo spool at?

while a 13g might have a td04 compressor housing, the turbine housing on the turbo in question is a td04.

so the question is. keep it or swap out for a t25? it's my fiance's car, so performance doesnt matter.

motor knocks and the uicp/bov was stolen so havent really ran the motor

I'd skip on the t-25 and grab a 14b.

I agree. The compressor side looks beefier though - not that that's indicative of much. For all I know it's an ebay collaboration and that's why there's the largeish generic cover and the adapter plate. I'm no expert.

Compressor wheel means nothing if the turbine wouldn't support enough airflow and the turbo will just choke off.
