I've rebuilt a pile of HX35's in my day, and that doesn't look like a HX35 turbine to me. The inducer tips are too short.

Are you sure that's not a HY35? The actuator with the elbow fitting into the compressor cover gives it away.

Isn't there a number beginning with 3xxxx on the chra. That should be a good start. Next thing would be to measure the inducer and exducers of both wheels

If it IS a HY35, it's worth something to someone looking to run that turbo in it's existing 9cm T3 turbine housing.

Bullseye doesn't make turbine housings to fit the HY turbos to my knowledge.

i just bought a HX35 and it has the WG off the compressor, i have not received it yet it should be here wed.

i thoguth the HY's were V band for the compressor cover?

actually looking threw that link more the last one he posts is a HY35 and that looks just like the one you posted,

the HX35's seem to have badged on them that that turbo does not

it could be a hy35. there is a hy35 on the page you link with the same printed stamp

Ask what the exhaust housing size is. 10cm^2 is the smallest the HX35 came with. If it's a 9cm^2, then there are a few other alternatives.

Ooooooh, eeeeeeeeee..... pick me! If you don't want it, point me towards it if it has a 9cm^2 housing. I'm looking to run either an HY35, HE341, or HE351, since they have that size exhaust housing. That one is in my price range.

I got this turbo with another car I purchased (it was not bolted up to the car, just sitting in the floor board), owner told me it was just a stock 14b, I didn't pay close attention to it until today when I was going to post it up for sale and had another 14b next to it, this one didn't look like it. The numbers on top I believe are: 49189-00640 it's hard to tell if its a 9, 8, or 0 because it has a threaded hole there for the WG. I tried some searching, 8 and 0 came up with nothing, 9 came up with some 15g ebay crap. It's oil fed only, no coolant lines, nor is the exhaust housing holes to the manifold threaded, maybe it was made for a top mount?... It doesn't have the same turbine housing as a 14b either. I'm assuming this was a factory turbo off some car. Any idea what it is and what it came off of? Is it even worth anything?

This turbo will not fit a DSM manifold.

Yeah the turbine housing is completely different, an o2 housing from our cars wouldn't be even close to bolting up, neither would an exhaust manifold. Any idea what on what car it would fit? I don't want to try and sell something without any info about it... Thanks for the help so far!

ok so first of all i own a honda and the only reason im posting on here is to clarify what kind of turbo this really is. a guy sold it to me saying it was a 14b dsm turbo but it turns out everyone is saying it is not. so i was wondering what it really is. please help.

That is a 12a from a mitsubishi Starion or Conquest. Even smaller than a 14b and one of the smallest mitsubishi turbos. May be ok for something on a honda.
