Thanks man!
I decided to keep it recirculated because it helps for spooling between shifts and it keeps the filter from resting on the inner fendar. I also hate having a pointless tube with a plug sticking off of the intake pipe, gumming up the engine bay. So, even though it's recirculated right now, I can always change it and it's still loud as hell with that 4" filter! I haven't been able to drive the car since all of the modifications I've done over winter, so much is still up in the air as to what setup works best right now.
The fitment is nice and everything bolted right up. Trimming the front bumber is a must, but not too difficult. I got rid of the black piece on the bumber just incase, as I still have my A/C. I've been through over-heating issues before with a huge FMIC on my Avenger Turbo, and even had to vent my hood because of it.... didn't want to take any chances with this car.
I will say that I've heard back and forth about this kit, but mostly about the intercooler core itself. How it doesn't flow what it should, but that's just because every vendor wants to think theirs is better. I won't say any names of shops or vendors, because that's not what I do, but everyone has their own budgets and goals. This fit my budget and has worked for me very well. I'm not a track guy or looking to put down huge numbers... but it will help get me closer to my goal of 400hp. Definitely over the stock SMIC. No dyno time as of yet, but it's coming and I'll be sure to post back on results and questions.

Especially if you want to maintain a little bit of stealth when driving through town. Too many people assume every Eclipse is a turbo, so I get a lot of ricers trying to race me all the time. It gets old, fast. I'm all about enjoying my hard work, not trying to break it!
