Yes thats a great price, i liked not getting a kit, but the core and build around it the way i wanted, with the short route, and my gm maft set up.

Put the piping on, have to still install the u-pipe and fmic core, will post a lot more pics when done, i will be uploading a couple in a minute.
I had the vrsf intercooler kit on my previous gst but i decided to do something different this time around and do the fog lights and all.
Not bad for $260 shipped.
.Ricky post up pics when you get yours and of install.
.
... JKYes it will
We have dyno proven gains from our kit compared to other fmic kits, not all are treated equal.
If you're gonna go for an xs power kit I recommend you take a look at our VRSF 2g kit, similar design, better performing core & our kit includes all the missing items the XS power doesn't include & has all the necessary install mods already taken care of (pre-slotted brackets, pipes are cut to the correct lengths without sacrificing beads, flanges are machines flat ect...).
my problem with my kit is the core has 21/2" core openings for the coupler, and the pipes are 2",, my coupelers aren't big enough to go over the core.... were they suppose to give me some tappered hoses?
I purchased it in the summer and got it installed. I just need to take some updated pictures. Everything fit really nice. I have a 20g and had no issues either. I just had to cut the welded on elbow that was facing the passengers side as I had the Greddy/Imagine Motors FMIC kit on before. It was awesome for such a great price. The cold pipes could have been a weee bit longer but its not an issue as the coupler takes care of the gaps. No overheating even in Cali 100+ degree temps, though I have my fans on all the time via dsmlink.
I would highly recommend this kit. I had an ETS FMIC on my former 1g HKS Former Promo car and I could not justify spending a whole $400 to $500 more to get the other kit again for my 2g.
Is anybody using the bov that comes with the kit? If so, how has it been working?

. Well needless to say the boost was leaking out the KNOCKOFF BOV. The diaphragm is completely torn. I literally was running all motor on the way home. The turbo was spooling its ballz off, but providing NO power. Is anybody using the bov that comes with the kit? If so, how has it been working?
When I had originally bought my PR SMIC piping kit, I tried to use the knock-off Greddy BOV and had no success. I could not get it to open (even on full soft) and had compressor surge like woah. I ended up using a 1g BOV with very good results, until I bought my PR FMIC kit for my 20g. Now I use a genuine Greddy RS and it works perfectly. If I were you, I would find a used RS or a 1g BOV to use with the kit!
