It's been a few weeks since I installed my front mount. But I talked to DSMJ89 and he told me the kit he bought and I went ahead and ordered it. Kit showed up fast, Was packaged very well and install went pretty smooth. My bumper support was already trimmed so that saved me some time.
I also installed a 16g and DSMlink at the same time.

Here's how it started out:

Old set up:

FMIC Mounted:
<a href="http://s143.photobucket.com/albums/r149/Miniracer1992/?action=view&amp;current=SAM_0077.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r149/Miniracer1992/SAM_0077.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

How the piping is ran for those of you wondering:
<a href="http://s143.photobucket.com/albums/r149/Miniracer1992/?action=view&amp;current=SAM_0068.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r149/Miniracer1992/SAM_0068.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="http://s143.photobucket.com/albums/r149/Miniracer1992/?action=view&amp;current=SAM_0073.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r149/Miniracer1992/SAM_0073.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Aftermath of the new bling and 16g:
<a href="http://s143.photobucket.com/albums/r149/Miniracer1992/?action=view&amp;current=SAM_0075.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r149/Miniracer1992/SAM_0075.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

I spent 7 hours trimming the bumper trying to keep the little vertical pieces that everyone cuts out. After 4 hours of notching, I gave up and chopped them off.
End product:

The bumper sags in this picture, I went back and cut off some more and now it is all straight.
I'll get some more pictures soon, overall I am very happy with the kit for $260. No complaints what so ever

Awesome Ryan looks good !
Question, how did you end up getting the black couplers ? They usually always send out the blue ones...

Not sure if this is the place I should be asking. I have a punishment 2g core and was wondering if just the piping is available?

Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

Yes, punishment racing sells the piping kit for $180 + shipping.

Which seller on eBay sells the kit with the good piping anyway?

Jjrock, it's etd motors.
The pics do not reflect the actual good piping but it is in fact the good piping/ pr style.
I have it and so does ryansaki as you can see our pictures posted on this thread.

Yes i asked them to send the black instead of the blue. I wanted a clean simple look.
I love this kit for the price, Can't be beat

I agree ryan, damn if i had known i would've deff asked for the black couplers, crap...
Oh well i'll just save up for red ones.

anyone know if the fp green will need any custom fabrication to fit. Im talking about the pipe that connects to the j pipe normally. Got my green coming in tomorrow and trying to plan out my work!

It will fit fine with the included pipes. I had a FP GREEN with this kit.

It was super easy for me I it only took me about 30min to trim it to fit and I kept my vertical pieces.

The HKS cast flange was a bi*** to weld way too many impurities and it was a real hks flange.

From the looks of your pipes that go to the throttle body, I think i ran mine wrong, I think I have the pipe coming off the intercooler backwards?

After looking through this thread and a couple others I am trying to get a for sure answer on how the fitment of the piping is working out for t-25/28 users. I understand that the newest version has the option for this turbo but have seen several users routing their piping underneath part of the frame and having some scraping issues which I would like to avoid. Are these users doing this with the older version or the newer version? If the piping is meant to go underneath i may just go with the vrsf kit and buy the ets u pipe which I know will route above the frame. Thanks for any and all help:thumb:

I've got one of the kit with the T25/28 option and mine routes above the crossmember, mine is a very tight fit though and rubs a little(i have a thicker radiator and fan shroud) but if you have the factory radiator and slim fans it should fit fine. I think even with a thicker radiator and just no fan shroud everything will fit fine also.

Did you order the kit that Dsmj89 order which is found here
Eclipse 95-99 Talon 2G 4G63 Intercooler Piping Kit +BOV | eBay
So call styled like PR.
And if so did it come with the intercooler bar as liked you had?
Thanks

No I didn't I ordered mine direct from PR. The link you linked me to looks similar but the uicp is different. Mine is 2 pieces (One large and one 90* direct off the intercooler) where as that has 3 pipes. Send a pm to the seller and ask if they come with the bar but I don't think they do, thats why they are cheaper.

yes, i'm running a 3" gm maf with mine - took some work though - had to shorten a few pipes, roll the ends, get some different couplers - came out great
