Just finished mine. It went real smooth. I used lotion on the letters.

Thanks man. I used the duplicolor candy red and flat black. I used lotion on the letters and just wiped it clean after everything dried. Then a couple clear coats.
 
Blue, chrome and black is my cars color theme inside and out.

Almost finished with mine. Got bored decided to spray it at work when it was slow. Should really look good with my steel braided lines I have on the way. Lmk what you think.

Honestly, I think that blue and maroon clash WAY too much. It looks really bad in my opinion.

Polishing the letters to give it some contrast and a focal point. I Also have chrome screws going into the top. To each their own. Some people like boring black or the same thing everyone has. I like to keep the bay off the wall, but all tied together.

Looks really good! It looks a little better than most of the spray can jobs I've seen though... did you spray it with a gun? If not, you have to let us know how you got that nice of a finish from cans, haha. :hellyeah:

this is my new valve cover with engraving it is a 2 stage polished red! the cover is first polished to a chrome then coated 2 times with a red lacquer to then harden and protect it
