the fact its a dsm

Im one of those guys that think if you do something, it should be with any OEM variant of any dsm....nothing else.

and hte fact that i drive a sil80, and thats a set of headlights wasted for a dsm that could be aon a 180sx
That really doesn't make any sense. Case in point, your rims. They are not an OEM variant of any DSM. Do they look good? Yes. Why or how is that (looking good) bad? It's not. You see, when judging how something looks, where it was made or what it was originally intended for doesn't make a difference, and to make any decisions about the appearance based on this information doesn't make ANY sense (no offense). If you don't like the way they look, what about them don't you like? The lines all flow and are of the same style (using the same geometric angle and curves) as the OEM body. That is what they should be judged by and I don't see how anybody could have any complaints about that.

Man, those are nasty! When I seen the title I thought man the s13s wasn't a good choice because i have always wanted to do the s15s, but those are just sick. I give you props on that. Very very clean!

Do a complete write up in the tech section for all of us dsmer's. I know you might have to go back and uninstall things but it would help everyone out! Looks sexy as hell

Thanks again for all the comments:thumb: on my conversion. I have some pictures when all the bodywork was done, so that you can see what had to be welded where. Since I'm gonna upgrade my FMIC soon, all the front end is going to be disassembled and I'll take pictures then so that I can build up a "how to" on the tech section.
Thanx again.

WHOA that looks really good. Really great job, I always liked the pop ups, but you made this conversion look very appealing.

The S15 lights on the 2g however is ehhh.. The 2GB is perfect exterior wise.

Whoa. Who does this car belong to? Looks just like mine, minus the headlights, spolier, and rims.

Back on topic: Nice work man it looks really good, congrats. :thumb:

wow Darkstartsi, those lights look great! I was looking at your picture and I was like Hmm that background sure looks familiar..reminds me of peru for some reason. Then I look where you're from and it says Lima so i'm like WHOA a peruvian!! Kind of shocked me LOL

I was born in peru and I was there last year and I didn't see any DSM. In Peru everyone drives helaaa crazy!! good thing 99% of the cars don't have turbo otherwise I would probably take the bus haha

Good job on the headlights

it doesnt matter what you think that i think about it or why. I have always hated conversions on DSMs....and wheels dont count man. Only good lookin dsm wheels are the 2gb 5 spokes.

and what makes sense to you may make sense to a mental patient.....never know

Nope, it's that fine line that some of us walk ;) . What 'makes sense' is anything that can be deduced from reason. What I said comes from a complete line of reasoning which is laid out in that previous post. Your 'reasoning' has more holes than a wiffle ball (heh, I said wiffle). You cannot say that the car doesn't look great, which is the point of a visual modification. You cannot say you are against visual modifications because you make accept ions. The silvia headlights do not detract from the overall looks and actually add functionality, and one opinion could be that they flow better with the OEM lines of the car.

It isn't fair to judge a part based on the car it was originally intended. Remember, to each his own, but everything can be proven mathematically, even logic and beauty.

Again, I don't even have a 1G and I am anxious to see how he pulled of such a spectacular modification.

Very nice man... i was just searching for the 1g a to the 1g b conversion.. i might have to give this a try... mad props on this though...!

do you really want to know my reasoning?

It makes it look stubby with the flat headlights on it. Liek the front isnt long enough to compensate for it.

Plus i just dont think it appropriate for another makes headlights/tailights or body parts other than a DSM variety to be on a DSM. or any car for that matter even hondas.

Im all for crafstmanship and bad ass fab...but i dont haev to like it.

I gave him props on it now STFU and drop it

Yes. If someone says that they don't like something that they don't, or if I don't like something they do, I want to know if they see something that I don't. I'm not so ignorant as to think that everybody has to like the same style, but whether or not somthing looks good is different from whether or not I like the style.

I really don't see how you think that that. Did you check out the pics in his gallery. the lines (even the ones you are talking about, which aren't flat by the way) are pretty much flawless:

I already talked about the fallacy in this 'reasoning'

Dude, not cool. Your entitled to your own opinion, but you should have been more clear on your poor reasoning in the begining.
