I think its awsome and would love to do that to my car, my buddy is a big 240 guy and said he can find me some headlights for a decent price...

Can you get a pic from the top down looking at the hoodline?

Yes. If someone says that they don't like something that they don't, or if I don't like something they do, I want to know if they see something that I don't. I'm not so ignorant as to think that everybody has to like the same style, but whether or not somthing looks good is different from whether or not I like the style.I really don't see how you think that that. Did you check out the pics in his gallery. the lines (even the ones you are talking about, which aren't flat by the way) are pretty much flawless:

I already talked about the fallacy in this 'reasoning'
Dude, not cool. Your entitled to your own opinion, but you should have been more clear on your poor reasoning in the begining.
What does my reasoning matter to you, i shouldnt have to explain my self to you anyways. liek i said drop it man. everyone has a different opinion, and they shouldnt have to explain ever facet of it to anyone

these pics have me wanting to do this to my car after its tuned!

nice work man

Nope, I didn't buy a 1Gb hood, I just welded the top metal pieces of my popups to my existing hood. I'll do the "how to" asap.

In the previous picture you can see what had to be welded on the hood as well as the mods done to the hood and fenders. It's not that much work since the front bumper was left untouched. I had to build a new center grille though.:thumb:

Here is the picture of the Hoodline that was requested earlier as well as some side pictures that were asked for. thanx again for all the good comments.

hmm. not my personal favorite but definitely good work on the conversion. as long as you like it thats all that matters.

GreddyGST is right, we peruvians have skills:D . If you ever come down here again mail me so that we can get in touch.
The fact is that hand labour here in Peru is really cheap, I actually payed for the bodywork involved in this conversion (the welding, cutting and fitment of the new headlamps) around $110. Plus the $150 that I payed for the set of headlights.
Benefits of living in a 3rd world country I guess.........

My rims are 18" Konig Tantrums, I believe they don't make them anymore but they sure came in 17"s.

That is unreal... the best looking mod Ive ever seen on a 1ga

Finally finished the headlight mods on my car. Here is the outcome of the silvia s13 headlight conversion on the 1Ga. Feel free to throw in your comments.

dude, those headlights fit that car soo much! I wanna do something like this, but I dunno anything else that would fit... shit I didn't even think a S13 headlight would go along.

It looks like you have some HID Balasts behind the headlights... you should show a photo of the headlights on.

Also looking at the mods to the hood... how did you get the headlight peices perfectly level?

I gotta say again that that looks ridiculous, a new breed of dsm, I bet they light way better than my "projector" style lights

Although it loosk beatiful in person, the damned things dont shoot the beam straight, but kind of in a Y pattern, meaning the beam hits the down at the ground and up at the trees and instead of straigh ahead, cant see sheet at nite

I must admit when I first read this post didn't like the first few pics but with the projectors man this conversion is done awesome, makes me wanna attempt this cause I've been tired of my pop ups. I might have to try this one day. good job man.

OMG I am soo doing this to my Talon ... after I repair the damage and atleast get it looking somewhat decent on the inside and out. LOL. Dude your car looks nuts! It looks like a new car. Question, does it run good tho? My 98 Eclipse looks sexy as hell. Clean, detailed, but its a pos!
