I'm a Nissan freak. I'm a decent DSM fan... mainly becasue my wife is a DSM freak.

I still prefer the real Silvia Varietta. It's current;y one of my ongoing projects in addition to my wife's GSX Spyder.

The SRT is one hell of a car, with a couple light mods, such as a BC. I don't own one, but my buddy does, and I'll tell you that it is a great car for $20,000. I am biased towards Japanese cars because of quality and relability (My other car is a '99 Accord EX), so I was skeptical of a fast Dodge for $20,000. The fit and finish is alright (it has Viper seats), but I still think Honda's have the best fit and finish(but I wouldn't perfer a Honda over a DSM, the Accord is just a stock, reliable, daily beater). With just a EBC (Blitz SBC-DC I think), at 16.9 PSI, he dynoed at 262.3WHP/290WT. BTW, the_anti_honda, check out http://www.srtforums.com.

being a nissan freak myself i think the conversion you're doing is kickass looking but please get rid of the emblem on the hood.... pretty please.

I had a link to a site that made carbon fiber doors, hoods, fenders, front and rear bumpers, but I lost it. :(
They were for Talons, but i imagine you can still use it for eclipse. Prices were not that ridiculous either. :dsm: :talon:

Hey, where did you get the picture of the white DSM with the aluminum wing? That's a guy named Steve's car, he live here in Houston (where I live). Just weird to see that picture found by someone in CA. Didn't think his car was THAT popular. Anyways, just wanted to give him some props, last time I talked to him, he dynoed round 320hp to the wheels on a small 16G, not bad. Oh, and his whole engine bay is chrome plated, right down to the heat shield.

hey everyone i was the original guy who started this thread. and since then i have gone through 3 DSM's. i started the conversion on to seprate cars and then sold most the parts out and my old GS eclipse the red one i sold for 3,000 bucks i now have a 1998 GSX eclipse stock body with the exception of the clear corners. i had some realy bad luck with that srt-4. we will just leave it at that. but if somone does have a carbon fiber chin spoiler for sale e-mail me at [email protected] and grade A OEM or the one with the vent carbon fiber hoods. i would rather suport the comunity then buy from some were else.
