That is a fairly easy fix, a section from the body line down to the pinch weld would work perfect, since the pinch weld seems to be intact in your picture. HOWEVER I would have a professional body shop do this repair, unless you have the skills and equipment. Using a patch repair section is the way to go rather than have a shop just weld sheetmetal in and shape it with bondo, which is just going to fall out later anyhow. Repaired correctly it should last quite awhile.
