StreetGlow is the best way to go.. top of the line from them is the GoldSeries. Check out thier site for more info.. Email/IM me if you want a set I have a few around my shop, we are a dealer... retail $299.99 we sell them for $150+ shipping, and $200.oo installed.

Good luck..

just install it right... i got pulled over 20 foot from my house in my car... i was so pist and i was like "my house is right there!!!!" and hes was a ##### and was like "i dont care" and then i asked why it was illegal in the first place and he said he didnt know and asked if i baught the car new with the neons (hes a dumbass) and i said "its a 93...." and he felt dumb and walked to his car and gave me a 120 dollar ticket..... murrysville cops ####ing suck!

I sell all the undercar kits. An up and coming new label are the Reactor kits. They are the brightest I've seen for the cheapest price. Can get a full reactor kit for about $85.00

I had them on my fixed up 1991 Celica and they were bright. I got compliments on them all the time and never had them short out after going through a drive through car wash or having them on here in Cleveland, Ohio during the winter months. They worked great for 4 years then I sold the car. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in the best Neon Underbody kit for the money. $299 plus installation. Total was $449, but like I said it was SUPER BRIGHT and never failed in rain, sleet, snow.

Also get a customized on/off switch so when you see the police you can live dangerously and turn it off when you spot them. I had a nice Cobra Radar detector and could usually turn them off before I get to the state trooper. Most of the time I ever got pulled over was for highway stops, however I never got a ticket just a warning all the time. I got pulled over a lot:p , but it was always a warning and such. Most of the cops liked the Neon, but were trying to act like they were disciplining me............whatever:laugh:

i just bustend a front neon...im pissed....did it ont he way back from schol...cut a turn from Bypass 17 onto 79 ave...its like a slight downhill thingh...and i cut it half on road half grass and BAM!!....i was like damn I suck again

try www.autoi.com
they have a light called maxx light i believe it is, they had an article in this months hci magazine and they put green ones under a honda civic and at about 5-6 oclock those lights where brighter to me that gold series street glow, they range from 170-200 nice, not sure if they make matching colors for the iterior and tag lights though.

hey I am purchasing a neon kit, but dont know how it will look or how to install one inder my car. I also have to keep it hiden cuz of the pigs! If anyone can help me out, that would be greatly appreciated.

Pics soon to come, car will be out of the garage soon....:laser:

You can also email me your pics or installations suggestions to

[email protected]

Its one of the easiest things to do. Mount bulbs, connect wires, wire switch for them. Done.

installation is easy if you are doing it in the exterior of your car then make sure you mount them where they won't hit when you bottom out. if in the interior make sure there no where someone is gonna kick them or bump into them.

You want suggestions? Take them back. You WILL BREAK them. I have had 4 sets of underlights. 2 LiteGlow and 2 StreetGlow Gold Series. I hate them with a passion. But if you don't want to listen to me and still do it. You need a titanium drill bit, phillips screw driver, and a jack. Just get under there and look for good spots to put them. It took me 2 hours the first time I did mine. Every time after that it only took about 30 min. The hardest thing is finding a good spot to put them. Good luck. And make sure the tube is not bent in any way.

im not tryin to mean, but no offense if you wanna do that to a car buy a honda:thumb:
dont do that to a DSM, please:(

ok last night i was thinking bout doin some neon inside my car. i hava black light tube right now hooked up to my cigarette lighter and i really like tha effect of that so i wanna get black lights throughout. i was thinkin of havin a tube ova each window, one ova tha back of tha rear window, and one in tha floorlights. how would i do this without running tha lights off my cig lighter? also, wheres a good place to get this stuff? im not tryin to be ricey so no flaming if you think that. thanks for any help.:dsm:

Buy the stuff wherever, Ebay, Pepboys..

Probably 20+$ for a decent size tube at Pep boys.. Ebay probably is the cheapest place.

Inorder to not have them all ghetto-rigged with like a 5 ciggarrete lighter splicer thing, you need to splice the cigarret adapter off of the end, then wire them up to a power wire on your car. You could run your own power wire somewhere, then run each of the lights wires to that, and install a switch too.. I'd say, though, try to find a power wire that goes on with your lights or something (ashtray light?) Wire them up there, it's really easy. If I can do it, anyone can. I had to use my cigarrete lighter power for my stereo :D My streo is very ghetto-rigged haha..:thumb:

Ooookay.

nothing wrong with underbodies.. washers maybe but theres nothin wrong with underbodies. visible neons are bad in my opinion.. makes me think 2f2f.. ehh

www.streetglow.com

best stuff made...! I could get ya a cheaper price on them then what they have on the site but still.. I would get streetglow. Just a tip.. Black lights show ALLLLL dirt and dust.. I had a few in my car.. I hated it i felt soo nasty even if i jus cleaned it...

Streetglow come with switchs, and wire to run from battery, or the cig lighter. I'd run in a power wire with a fuse and hook all the lights up to the one wire.. (less wires to run) make sure the power wire is thicker then he wires on the neons tho.

Good luck!

I know this thread died a long time ago, but it's on the subject i am wondering about right now....where the heck do you mount the front neon tuber?!?! I can't find a spot that it will screw into?
