GI: Carbon/Kevlar/Fiberglass parts

...Yea, I mentioned the wrap in my last post. I can knock some of those out with a core charge for people who want to purchase it without having to send theirs in.

As far as the wing goes, if there is a market I could always make some, but I would alter mine to not be quite as long. Or for people who want this but carbon wrapped, I could do it that way too.

Voted. Being that most items have been made for 2Gs (all 4 of the first choices), I went with my obvious 1g bias and picked parts that NOBODY HAS EVER MADE.a

Wish i would have seen this sooner. I was just in VA near you on Monday and i have a spare 2gb bumper you could of used as a Template. If you still want it let me know. Im probablly headed down that way again here soon.

And I've got ya on the lower window trims. Its an easy overlay part, but I've got to offer it as a core I'll let you know, and I may offer it on the initial products for those who want it. Core for it will probably be five to ten bucks. My only concern is the weather stripping on it looking like garbage. If theres a fix for that, PM me...we'll talk...and I'll take care of whoever assists me in that

Disregard on the fix...I think I figured something out. I just gotta test it. I know its not on the poll, but would anyone else be interested in refurbished window trims? New rubber seal, chipping rubber/plastic gone, and either chromed, carboned, or powder coated lower trims?

Thats the tech write up. But I prefer it with carbon fiber layer instead of painting it black.

You sir, have just saved anyone interested a good 20 bucks. I didn't realize it would be that easy to do without sand blasting it. The only reason mine will still be a little more expensive, and the incentive to buy as opposed to doing that write up, is that I'll be replacing the inner rubber trim that meets the window (the seal). I know when I had mine 1g, it stayed cracked...badly...the window went up and the pieces fell out... But seriously, thank you for the write up. I again didin't realize it was that easy to get rid of

Thats great!!! Well I'll still pay whatever you charge for them. This is good because it could mean that you could make have these much quicker!!!
As mentioned earlier, a rear wing for the 1g would be great too!!!
Can't wait for august to come so that I can place my order.

A lower timing cover would be awesome. Functional and super strong to combat the annoying tendency of our covers to bust into pieces when tightened a tiny bit too much. Someone already makes a clear upper so it would be pointless to make a cf upper with the gears showing.

There are a few details I need to work out with the sunroof..I'll have to find one on the cheap for the mold. As for the see through cam cover, I dont think it would work well on our application. The supra gears are smaller, so its easier to cut holes into it while maintaining rigidity...ours are probably too large and we have enough problems to worry about besides a cam cover getting caught in our gears.

Ive seen quite a few in my area that you could use for a mold. If I find one, Ill let you know cost to see if you want it. I was set back quite a bit this month due to an order of supplies never making it here. Hopefully I get this stuff soon so I can be up and running fairly quickly.

1g gauge cluster cover..... like the black piece that goes in front of the gauges... but in cf not just an overlay either, also 1g mirrors, 1ga cf hood ( getting hard to find a good one ) 1ga tail light middle piece life the 2gcenter plastic but in cf. a 1g sunroof cover, fenders, hatch, full interior, and just to throw all you guys off

a valve cover.

if that ever gets made i will buy on spot

I agree that the 2g's get all the carbon love. I would be all over a 1ga front lip. Not one that extends up towards the rear, just a clean thin carbon lip. Another piece I would be willing to pay for is a factory style 1g 3 piece rear wing in carbon fiber. Hell i'd even pay just to have it wrapped. I also agree on a good quality 1ga hood.

I have to add, since it's on my "soon come" list of things to do in the car...a nice vent bezel/replacement for the 1g center vents. None of that flat "hope it holds" garbage you see on Ebay, but something molded like the 2g guys get.

I know that this is impossible but I would love to see a clear valve cover. If somenoe would fabricate one, I'd for sure be the first one to buy it regardless of price.

...Clear valve cover. I'm actually looking to fabricate a carbon fiber piece that covers the entire valve cover and the upper timing cover. Something similar to a full engine cover that most of the newer cars get.

I appreciate all of the interest thus far guys! The first things made will be the spark plug cover and the upper t/c. After that, hopefully some of the funds that come in will be enough to fab up the 1g front lip and the 2g rear bumper diffuser. I'll aslo be looking into the moonroofs for the 1g and 2g guys. Trust me 1gs...I know you need some love, and I'm looking to put it out there...I just hope it bites! Moving this weekend, and I'll be short on replys on here as I am waiting to get the shop set up and get internet at the home...Mid august is when I should get up and running, and hopefully bringing the first 2 products out!
