Can you guys post a lip of the 2gb that you are interested in? I want to keep most of it clean, but let me know what YOU guys want to see! I'm also going to be needing some parts for mock up and such. When I'm ready, I'll let you know but they will be as follows for now.

Valve cover with spark plug cover (valve cover can be cracked as long as spark plug cover bolts in)

upper and lower good condition spark plug covers

2g center section for tail lights

thanks again for all of the support guys!

Got ya man...I think i can help make some of the other galant stuff a possibility as long as i can get the support from the community :)

Weve been let down HUNDREDS of times man. There is interest but we need assurance from a good reliable company.

Well...thats no good for anyone. As long as there is more than interest I'm down. What I mean is, have it not turn out like some of the other forums thats "YES I'm SO buying that, pleeeze make it"....you make it and its "Poop...I just bought another guinea pig today, and dont have enough money for this...but I double promise that I'll buy one one day :)"...but I LOVE the look of the 2000 or so galant...Theres alot that could be done with them to really help out. I'll hop over there as soon as I get going and get a few products out so people can say "Yes, this guys pretty good"...and hopefully not "This person can lick the area between my (insert body part here) and my (insert other body part here)".

Maybe a two or three gauge holder for the 1g vent that angles the gauges towards the driver? carbon fiber intake pipes? ive never seen a front lip for a 1g that would be awesome, center console cover, headlight insert for a "ram air" intake, oh and the inside mirror covers for a 1g. LOL:thumb:

LOL...Dont worry. I had thought about making carbon fiber intercooler piping, but i just cant see it worth the time right now. As far as just a turbo intake pipe, I could still do that, but again...it will not be my main focus. For a front lip, do you 1g guys just want that little extra that flows but doesn't jump out as a massive lip or how would you want it? Also, I had initially talked about powder coating too on another site...is that even an interest for you guys?

I would like a lip to be that "little extra" and flow well not a big flashy honda front lip LOL,also a cf rear spoiler would be cool to see. Here is a crude drawing in paint LOL, but i would like something like this in cf that is almost a slip-over on the stock bumper cover

I'm pretty sure i can get that done for ya...would you want it to cut up the side and just ride out the bottom a little as you have pictured?

I'll second the need for 7th gen Galant parts (94-98). There isn't a decent aftermarket bumper or vented hood out there for them. An Evo inspired design in fiberglass or whatever would be awesome. I've had to hack the crap out of a 7GB front cover to get ANY airflow to my FMIC/radiator.

Ok...so I'm not toooo familiar with the galants, but If I created a clean front bumper for these cars, people would be interested? Fo sho? Because if I did it, I would try to basically keep it close to stock, but open it up like the 2g eclipses have with a big mouth.

The only issue I would see is that I am mainly just working with carbon and fiberglass...Would you guys be interested in a clean kit if it were made of fiberglass or no?

What are your capabilities? How about some carbon fiber usage for performance? I want a rear decklid, and a front splitter, not a lip spoiler but a true splitter and a lot of other stuff.

Well...i'm definitely starting smaller, but were you just wanting a low profile spoiler or an actual rear trunk lid...

A carbon fiber fuse box cover would be sweet.

The vent in front of the rear wheel well might be cool. Not sure how easy it'd be to gank it though. I'd be interested in a black fiberglass lip, not sure about carbon as I'd be mighty upset about it getting messed up.

I'm still upset the rear lip for the 2g's didn't come out. Granted, the original plan was for a diffuser, which I still want desperately. I have even been contacting a few local composite shops to make this for me.

Beyond that, the timing covers are a good idea, but I believe they would have to have some kind of timing mark. And a radiator cooling plate would be awesome. Hell, id take one of those on aluminum if they even made that!

i was looking for a complete hatch/lid whatever you want to call it LOL. 1Gs dont have much support. i think if you did some actual functional body parts for 1Gs then that would be awesome. id buy it

Carbon fiber rear diffuser for the 2gb. Or at least a lip that covers the muffler cut out for us guys dumping out exhaust at the front wheel.

So a lip and rear diffuser option would be wanted for the 2g guys? What about the 1gs?

Or what about a rear lip that incorporates a rear diffuser? I'm pretty sure i've got an idea you guys would like

Make sure you arent over extending yourself, setting up a business is much more than starting to produce products in your garage. You need to get at very least a license, sole proprietorship, LLC etc. You need to have a way to track order's and keep track of customers aka excel or something like that. You need to figure out a budget, you profit margins etc.

Keeping track of order's and customers helps do the most important thing for new company's, establish a loyal customer base. You can produce the best most awesome products in the world but if no one buys em then what good are they? Customers are the key to business and you have to be prepared to go way above and beyond the call of duty to keep them happy and comming back. Once you have all of the above planned and figured out, talk to someone who has started their own company and LEARN from him. People have been starting their own businesses for as long as human kind has been on this earth! Needless to say there are alot of easy mistakes you can make that can be the difference between success and failure.

Once everything has been completed, then jump into the cash commitment of equipment/ parts/ labor/ product line/ etc. As a final note I don't want to dissuade you from doing this, I think for the right person owning their own business is the smartest decision you can make. Do the footwork in the beginning and you will save yourself countless headaches later on in life. Good luck!

I appreciate the advice man! My father's helping me with the business end of it as he's a business major with his masters :) I'm not looking to over extend myself, but as many ideas as I can get the better. I've got some investment money in my hand along with a silent investor who's helping get it started.

legally I'll be getting all of my ducks in a row prior to selling the products. I'm debating on the name but its Justice Racing (either LLC or INC). I have someone setting up the website for me and probably a customer database if I do not set it up. But any advise or what not is welcome, I'd just prefer it via pm than on the thread if you dont mind bro. Thanks man!

Yes i would like a front lip pretty much as i drew it, to come up the sides an flare out a bit at the bottom, yet slip over the stock cover so it doesnt look out of place, also if you could make the small c/f bumper things that go above the muffler like evos have that would be awesome, us 1gb guys alreay have a cut-out there.

I would be interested in a plug for a 1g pop up sunroof that could use all of the original hardware. I COP plate would be sweet too. I have a valve cover I would be willing to send you if you are interested.

* CF pop up head light covers (Replacements for OEM part NOT a damn overlay!!!)
* Chin spoiler for 1ga & 1gb cars (2g's you got options already) Made from fiberglass, CF is just to fragile for this imo. And fiberglass is much easier to repair.

And last but NOT least as it would be very nice. A aluminum underbody paneling kit. <------ Would be awesome. And I would not think it would be to hard to mass produce once you worked it out.

By Chin Spoiler are you talking about a front lip or describe to me what you are looking for. As far as fiberglass being more durable than Carbon, I may have to disagree, but it would be easier to fix if it was struck. I'm looking into a few resins that have some flex to them or ways you can allow the material to be somewhat flexible, like FRP. Carbon is VERY strong properties, but it a very STIFF strong. I'd eventually like to develop a Urethane lip for the front of the cars that could be painted, but with the extra time and cost to produce, it will not be done at first. But everything produced will be offered in Carbon and Fiberglass :) With both options economically priced.

I realize this is another company talking about their products for motorcycles, but it sums up basically what I am doing. I'm still working on how I will develop my molds, but I will only be using epoxy resin for the reasons posted. This resin will be used in both my fiberglass and my carbon fiber molds. The fiberglass mat I am purchasing and using is a 2x2 twill weave, identical to carbon fiber weaves :) Also, depending on the product, there will be 2 to 3 layers of carbon fiber.

Carbon Fiber 101!

I'd like the trim that goes around the shifter to be CF, the center console i would call it. LMK how much you think that would cost for a 1g.
