Any thoughts on the FP TD05H 20g?

How do you think ( or know) what this compressor (20g) would flow if mated to a T3 exhaust housing that was machine matched to TDO6 turbine wheel? (thinking around a .68 A/R on hot side as well..but i'm not sure of the turbine diameter on the td06..any help on that info?)

since finding my 57 trim has finally taken major compressor wheel daamge while smack in the middle of spending my last pennies fixing a valve-piston collision i had 3 weeks ago, i'm trying to find my replacement turbo in something i can pick up cheap and match to one of the extra turbine housings i have from old t3/t4 hybrids

if i could manage to get 46-47lb/min out of it, that would be very satisfying and probably still take up much less space than the t04E housing inthere now

Why machine it? Just grab a turbine housing off a GMC syclone (TD06-17c). Their stock housings are 8cm, but they have aftermarket 12, 14, etc available and the stock stuff is usually pretty cheap.

They spool similar to a TD05-10cm setup but with more top end (mid to high 400s on a 3SGTE, a 4g would probably do better)

Well I finally picked up this turbo from my friend with the manifold spacer and the o2 housing for 200 it is the hrc super 20g so its pretty much the same thing , I have a 7cm housing available but I'm gonna run it this way to see what I can get out of it with a obx t3 mani on 32-30psi on e85 and a built motor , if I don't like the spool time ill swap it to the 7cm housing . If I could see 45-46lbs of air or so id be happy we shall se
 
I've thought about running the 10cm t3 housing to get rid of the surge, and get some more top end power, but the turbine exit is smaller than a 6cm 14b housing. I don't think any porting could get it to have an exit the size of my evo housing.
Would it be dangerous to port out the 10cm outlet? Is there a chance of ruining the housing? Im thinking not, but i want to be sure. Ill be running external gate off a T3 manifold.

Edit: Does anyone make a DP for that 2.5 v band or is that a custom affair as well?

Judging from the pictures DSM-ONSTER posted in post #62, if you were to remove the plug where the flapper would normally be it would be like any other o2 housing. Am I right or am I just thinking way out there?

After reading about the 10cm t3 housings, I think Im going to make the switch to one after I get all I can out of the housing that is on the car now..

Am I right or am I just thinking way out there?
That wouldn't work because the wastegate chamber isn't separated from the turbine exit, and it would need to be to run an external gate off the turbine housing. See pics in post #41 and #48.
 
Ooohhhhhh! Ok now I see it.. Geeze.. The little things you dont notice. Dangit, I thought I was onto something.. So you really do have to run an external gate off of the manifold or run internal with this housing then... That really sucks. Well, I guess by then since its a t3 flange Id be needing to buy a different manifold any ways and make a custom o2 housing..
