Oh, another little argument with someone else. Should have guessed...

For the people who said 14b, congratulations, you don't know jack squat about DSMs.
I bet that makes you mad. Especially considering that even jusmx141, our resident turbo expert, turbo builder and all-around turbo know-it-all said 14b and he has touched more of these than anyone.
Of course as he pointed out, it is impossible to tell from that angle in that picture. That is also the only picture I had to go on.
A couple of days ago a kid with a VW Bug joins our forum, a car I have personally seen, and seen personally race a GST w/ a T28 who had fuel cut issues and beat by a car length. We all know that GST is around a mid to high 14 second car, he was running 14 pounds on a stupid squat on cheap-o tires. The kid claimed he ran a 12.4. I called him out on it.
His buddy, a guy who goes by the name of MARTINI here, comes in and posts a time slip, saying the guy in the right lane was the bug. You see MARTINI is trying to claim he ran a 12.955 on a T25 at 17 pounds of boost in his 2G Spyder with some 18 inchs TSW wheels and show over go tires. According to dsmtimes.org, that would make him the fastest non-nitrous 2G FWD T25 car. I called bs on him too and then he basically tried to call me out on my DSM knowledge...long story short I made a fool of him.
So his vendetta was to post on his own forums that based on me looking at that picture, and then asking the kid if it was a 14b or a 16G, that I know nothing about these cars.

So, everyone who said 14b...MARTINI would like you to know that in his DSM expertise, you have no clue what you are talking about. All because in that picture above you could not properly determine the turbo.
It's a $75.00 CList 16G according to the owner.
Cant go to original threads, wont let non members see.
It is nearly impossible to tell a 14b and a 16g apart just by casings, The best way to tell though which everyone here should know is by the fins.
I'm most impressed by this:
