Yeah, XSPower is the ebay turbo company. I'm sure you've seen many threads on them. The only way to tell what size it is, is measure the diameter of the opening. But, It's probably a 16g I haven't seen them build much others.

EDIT: ^^ Or so you think... Haha, nah it could be good, but theres a lot of reports of things like there wastegate being stuck open and unlimited boosting, and the turbo splitting in half, etc etc. I have seen pleanty of people still running them strong though.. Good luck!

Haha yeah, I guess we'll see how this one holds up.

That inlet is huge. Are you sure its not a 16G Killer (bastard 20G or whatever its called) knock off? Definately looks bigger than a 16G wheel. Maybe they just did a horrible job copying the wheel...

It's just the fact that the pics are close up, if you compare it to the Rad hose its really not that big. :thumb:

At least you didnt make the decision of buying that junk turbo. Since it came with the car you should just wait for it to blow.

I'd run it and try to make it last. Some people have had success with them. Never know, you might have gotten one of the good one's.

Yeah, I know. I would like to know what kind of glue they use to hold a turbo together.
Or any proof behind that whatsoever.
But, I have seen several pictures of them split clean in half, which is odd, to say the least..

Well I just got it running with new plug wires and that knockoff turbo does the trick at least for now. It pulls hard as hell, Ii also need to get a boost gauge because I hit fuel cut in 3rd gear.

Whooo you need to hook the wastegate to pressure source with a vacuum line and bypass the MBC, if you dont have a guage. The 2g maf doesnt hit fuel cut for a long time and you may be running crazy amounts of boost way over 25 to cause that. Or you have a big boost leak. I would do this or you may blow your motor up.

Ive also seen one personally split in half on the first start up and cool down. This was the EVO 16g GT made in china which is suposed to be great. And I know the xs power is worse quality than those even.

According to his origional post this is a 90, so if he's running the stock MAF then it will hit cut before the 2g but yeah, I would defently hook it back to stock (with BCS) or have the WG hooked directly to a pressure source until you get a gauge, or do you have a logger?

I have, as well as many others seen the pics of an XS power/SS Autocrap, comp cover that was actually glued together and obviously had seperated. They were found on the net, so take that for what its worth but yes the comp cover in the pic was actually glued together.

I had a turbo up for sale that I was told was a 14B, Sold it and it was returned to me sayin it was a 13G.

Is there a way i can tell for sure what it is?
The casing numbers on the inlet are (if these help any):
S
49177-01900
TD04
Thanks :)
