On the exhaust Flange inlet to the hotside there should be a FP logo stamped into it if it is an FPB28.

Are you sure? Can you post some pics of the compressor housing where it shows that number also a pic of the wheel.
Hahn Super 16G. It's a Small 16G with an oversized 10cm T3 turbine housing. Gain some serious spool by losing that shitty adapter and turbine housing in favor of a 7cm DSM bolt-on housing, then modify the wastegate actuator to work. A Small 16G on a 2.0 doesn't need a turbine housing that large.
thanksGt35r.
Sounds a bit exaggerated. I don't know of any T3-frame turbos capable of 1000hp outside of maybe the FP3794 or PTE 6766.picked up this from a kid locally. was told it was an F280R, sposed to be 800-1000hp according to the old info on f2 racing.
Ah, ITS. No surprise Innovative Turbo is no longer around as of 2007 or so- they essentally copied Turbonetics turbos directly, poorly-pairing wheel combos on what is essentially a knockoff of a turbo that is already a knockoff of a Garrett....so reliability suffered.measured the wheels and the specs come out to:
compressor inducer: 65.60mm
compressor exducer: 91.00mm
turbine inducer: 61.85mm
turbine exducer: 71.00mm
has ITS compressor housing and wheel, everything else is garrett. no tag or markings on the CHRA, turbine housing is small looking, has garrett, 63 and B2506, as well as some other markings that i am not positive of the meanings.
Assuming it's ball bearing, you have a non-rebuildable turbo with way too large of a compressor on way too small of a turbine. May work well on a 1.5-1.6L, but our cars or anything larger will have too much exhaust energy. In other words- a nice door stop, paper weight, or small boat anchor.also it is dual BB as far as i can tell, might need compressor side shaft seal (I.E.- rebuild)
so Justin, what do i got??
No need to worry- it is definitely too small.edit: also, the f280r was supposed to be a t4 flange, this is a T3. also curious about flow specs for the turbine wheel. my freind wants to try it on his built 7mgte, but is worried the turbine housing is too small.
