My opinion, Marty - nothing of consequence. They look the same enough to me.

Marty, if my memory serves me right, different year/generation, as much as I know at least there are 3 (maybe 4) different 6 bolt heads. There is slight differences on oiling and cooling but technically they work the same.Ok, thanks to all of you that looked at those pictures. I grabbed the one without cams but haven't done anything more than bring it inside and hose it with WD40.
Here is a question to anyone that wants to reply, what is the difference in the following 2 heads? One has varnish and the rockers are laying around in it but the other (the "2.0L" head) is complete, with no tossed rockers, so does anyone know the difference in these 2? The varnished one is a G6 the other, complete one says "2.0L".
Thanks in advance.
Marty

Currently has a Walbro 535 in the fuel cell, I bought a Magnafuel 750 to go on it instead but I'm kinda leaning towards mechanical now.Looks awesome Jason. What are you doing for fuel pump?
Have checked it with mechanical at home at idle, 10psi as normal, but aems simple, looks good, simple to install and ive never had bad experience with them. Plus they look decent and i appreciate the numbers over trying to glance where a needle is depending on the day, and im not pushing the car hard enough on streets to worry that much, just want a warning to pull over before I send it from a red light. I run a aem map sensor and boost gauge, and they line up wonderfully according to my logs so feels good enough to trust their oil sensor as well.Looks good why not analog mechanical oil pressure gauge to run an stainless steel braided line
Not I'm enjoying seeing everyone else projects and ideas for mine![]()
