Picked up a bunch of unused Evo X ETS couplers and t-bolt clamps cheap off FBM. I believe the old couplers on my punishment racing fmic are the source of my leaks while doing a boost leak test. I'll swap out as many as I can. They even match my black/orange color theme. 😃

Had the an fittings installed on my fuel sending unit and an O2 bung for my wideband on my down pipe. Also received all new suspension bushings and SD sensors from STM. The rotating assembly should be wrapped up this week! Finally seeing some progress!

nice work ...love the older lincoln welder ...they weld smooth but loud LOL

Changed oil for the first time @62km. Hoping the nasty doesn't carry on. Gave it a bath for the first time in two years

This should be my good luck charm... Right @Ludachris?

I can see that extra 5 hp you added. At least it looks faster now. :)

Picked up two cheap 45 degree couplers off Amazon. Man are they HUGE! Cut them down a bit to get them to fit. My punishment fmic piping fits so much better then with the older couplings. Only one old coupler left on car. Turbo j-pipe to 2.5". Mine wasn't leaking with my initial boost leak test, but I might replace it later.

Nice to have more options available these days, hopefully they last a long time.

Over the winter I made some neoprene gaskets for the clips around the rear quarter windows. Today I finally got everything together and put it all back together. (Got more adhesive on the car than I did on myself, it's a win. :D )

Happy to make more of these gaskets if anyone needs them. $5 for 10 pieces.

Just curious, but I'm trying to chase a leak into my hatch and I see water drips running down the electrical wire to the hatch light on the left, I was thinking that I'm leaking around the adhesive in the rear quarter windows, but could water also leak through these neoprene gaskets? Even if they are new like yours?

Hm. It's POSSIBLE, since all of these clips are "outboard" of the line of urethane adhesive.

If you're referring to "inside" hatch/trunk light on the left side of the car, that does indeed pass by the lower line of clips and gaskets at the bottom of the quarter panel, so your logic is sound.

Water leaks are No Fun.

Put another 80km a few days ago and checked crank endplay (total 222km)
Still .006" on the dot, I'm happy with that

So I plumbed and wired my IR solenoid for an external wastegate (using both upper/lower ports) and put on my exhaust manifold blanket.

My vehicle profile now exactly matches what is really installed haha

Tossed in my stealth 340 pump. This thing is so quiet man, it’s unreal. I’m so used to the whine of a walbro I thought it was not plugged in until I heard fuel moving.

My exhaust made me deaf so I can't hear the whine of the 350 anymore anyway LOL
But I do remember it sounded so race car

In all seriouslyness, I'd too be happy with a quiet pump

The older I get, the more old man I turn into. In my younger days you strip the car out for a max of like a hundred pounds or so, convince yourself it was worth it, delete the A/C and such while stockholm syndroming yourself into believing it was "because racecar".

But honestly these days...I'd rather have a stereo, A/C, and a quiet(ish) comfortable ride. I'll just make more power to offset the weight difference. I didn't realize the pump bothered me until the noise was gone. I only heard the Whinebro when I was key on, engine off or at stoplights with the blinkers on. But now that it's gone, it's crazy. I'm gonna eventually put some deadmat/sound insulation all in the back of the trunk and in the doors too. That way I don't hear the car unless I want to. I'm spoiled with the exhaust though, it really is perfect. It's not particularly loud anywhere, even at WOT. But highway with windows down you could still have a reasonable conversation. I could imagine how it'll be windows up and sound deadening/insulation mat in the doors and trunk.

Stop flexing, brah.
I agree with all of this, except my laziness has increased, and it's a constant battle between effort to make my life easier and .. meh, whatever, I'll just live with it.
My car has a/c. I did not run the belt. Too lazy. Maybe next year.

But a quieter exhaust would be very nice. I have to adjust the angle of exit anyway so I'm going to look into chambered mufflers over the winter.

I never really noticed my Thermal R&D on my car until I got into parking garages and it set off everyone's car alarms. I thought it was pretty quiet in the car but it rumbled everything outside.

I have a 4” one for my intake and I had to cut it down but quality seems up to snuff.

New rear brake lines they started leaking one day while out on a little drive 🥲 And new ebrake shoes they were nonexistent.

Mine seems to have gotten so much louder over the years. Especially while its choppin along at idle. Unless Ive just been oblivious all this time or im just getting old :D . Ive found myself saying "Why is this car so f***ing loud" quite a few times now.
