I think Hondas everywhere are idiotically priced. They're very practical and reliable, and everyone knows it. The only reason I have two of them now is because the precious owners didn't know what they were worth in a modern market. I was...

Hondas in NW FL are idiotically priced. A POS dented knocking same gear civic would be $6k.If I score a passable 2Gnt for like $1500 that needed some engine work I’d jump all over it.

I did use this car as a daily for 2 years before I lost my marbles. It never really gave me issues besides old parts retiring and did get acceptable fuel consumption. I wouldn't necessarily convince you not to daily one as long as you know how to...

I don’t want it for performance, I want it for a slow but fun daily that has better gas mileage than 18mpg city. Lol.I have the DSM and the Edge for turbo performance.
    • CrackedDSM
You got me wanting one of these 2GNT's to play around with for a daily. If I could find one in decent shape that was M/T I'd buy it up.

This is a loose install, just for mock up purposes. It would appear this is going to work. Rear spindles from a Mitsubishi Diamante will indeed bolt up to a 2g DSM. That's the only vehicle at the yard today with parts even remotely close, so I'm...

Yeah, I bought a pair a while back. Don’t even know if I need replacement rear axles yet, but I couldn’t pass up a deal like that even if they just sit on the shelf as future back ups.

Thanks man! Good to know. :D

No loctite needed on the pressure plate bolts. 14ft/lb is spec.
    • CrackedDSM
I don't think 22-24 would hurt, all I could find is the service manual says 14 though. I was curious if I should red loctite those bolts too, but decided against it.If a wiseman has otherwise to say, lemme know. With the clutch still easily...

Did this. So stoked.Got it all torqued in and loctited(Crank bolts) and ready to rock. On my next day off I'll get the trans stabbed in, everything topped with fluids, and ready to rock 'n' roll, bleed the slave too.Do the interior...

Well, I was determined to get something done today because my thread chaser/tap kit came in, and honestly...I should've bought one of these years ago. WD-40 soaked for a couple days and a good chaser makes short work of old red loctite. Like it...

I'm afraid you guys are just going to have to wait until we can post a few pictures up.We can probably have something posted within a week or so.

I'd be in for a blank. If it was made by RTM I'd just rock it as-is.
    • CrackedDSM
If they're identical to the shift mitsu shift knobs in the picture but just blank, I'd be interested in one as well. Easy AF to get it laser etched locally or paint it myself.

That's some of the most painful shit in existence for men. As much as they are able to measure "pain" or the bodies reaction to it, they say that a smallish to moderate kidney stone for men is more painful than un-medicated childbirth for women...
    • CrackedDSM
You know what, I used to watch that as well when I was younger but I think it was just the regular Dragon Ball.. perhaps I should revisit it.. inbetween passing tiny kidney stones :O

In honor of Akira Toriyama passing a few days ago, I finally got around to moving my collection of DBZ from my old laptop to my new one. Seasons 1-9, remastered with either English dub or Japanese dub(no subtitles). Gonna watch the hell out of...

It legit feels brand new. The PO said it was new, including the clutch kit which was OEM exedy. If you drag your fingernail down it, it feels like a brand new surface. Hard to describe but you know what I mean.I’m gonna run the hell out of it!
    • CrackedDSM
Shoot I wouldn’t hesitate to run that flywheel! I see some staining from rust but no heat marks or anything, I’m willing to bet it’s a fresh surface and just rusted before it got used, however you know my bad habits of throwing junk together...
