Well, lets see..... Removed radiator, fans, radiator brace, both fenders, ran my nitrous lines, hooked up nitrous solonoids, and purge kit to my nitrous control switch. Ran a go juice push button, put my battery in the trunk, hooked up the power distro box and 2 fuses, swapped the ugly stock shift boot for an alcantara leather one, and replaced the shift knob.... Think that's enough for one day??
 
New CAI sadly sent me a 3 inch filter I need a 2.5 LOL it'll work till I can get the right size. never knew how much better a car sounds with one of those on it

Gf survived a year with me so I figured she deserved to get a few things done LOL
T belts, turbo, water pump. Maybe install rm sway bars while I'm at it.

Mine puts up with my ass for 6 years later this month(aniversery) Get my old lady to buy a 2gb talon please.
 
Yesterday I wire tucked the harness that goes over the rail,deleted emissions,put the battery down lower,Got everything besides t belt and cam gears broken loose getting ready for the new HG.

Also vacuumed the front up pretty good.

Today, get the wiring and tucking finished,replace some hoses,cap off whats left to cap off,and Well i should be getting close to finished for now.
 
Install push to connect fittings in my Tial MV-S and Evo 3 16G.
Also starting to figure out how to hinge my air box cover (fuse box hides inside).

I want to get more done but I'm painting a room in my house, ugh the dreaded honey do list keeps growing.
 
I put in some new NGK plugs, installed my clear side markers, cleaned up the engine bay a little, and now I just gotta wait for my 16g to come in the mail :hellyeah:
 
I won first place in the Modified 2wd class at my first ever Autox (yesterday)! I should have some external pictures (Thanks to Gofer!!) to post tomorrow and I'll be updating my blog, its been a while.

is that angle for the harness ok. i know the ones i looked at all said not to install them to the floor due to spine injury's in a crash.
 
Haven't posted here in awhile, let's see... I've put on Ksport coilovers, comp 259/258 cams, Dejon UICP with type S BOV and 3" GM MAF w/ translator, intake pipe with K&N cone, fuel pump re-wire, and just put in evo 8 560cc injectors and set the idle and now it puts like a kitten, and roars like a lion hahaha still need to put on the 2g ported exhaust manifold and evo 8 fuel pump and find a decent turbo.
 
1G's are beast rally cars. It's our forte! Nice job, man. :)
Thanks! Usually it's the AWD ones though. However being 2wd makes me more competitive because rather then going against Subaru's and Evo's I'm going against Focus's.

Actually it's not ok and I fixed it earlier today. When I first installed the seat and harness I had the intention of only drag racing, so a very low likelihood of rolling over. Now that I am using the car for rallyx I corrected that.
 
Well my thing was more of "whatd you do to your DSMs this weekend".

first, last wednesday after getting my spyder ready to drive this summer I kept hitting small but very frustrating snags. First was shorting my battery causing my ecu to burn a diode and a track. Then was my fuel injector seals.. Fixed both of those. Then upon pulling the car out of the garage one of the tires on my nice 18" wheels had a bad sidewall and leaked.

While all this was going on my 1g was progressively getting worse to drive. Ive been short on cash so maintenance has been kind of lacking. It just started leaking coolant. My driveshaft carrier bushings have been bad and have been rattling a LOT! I just changed a wheel bearing last month. Had to change the rear end since its been howling for the entire winter (thanks Peepers!).

So, I got the spyder going, swapped my FDs from my talon onto my spyder and the 18s onto the talon. Spyder has been driving pretty great the last couple days.. Little lean at idle and cruise and rich in boost.. BUT it gets me where I need to go in style!!
 
Im not going to lie, it was pretty sketchy.. hahahah the only reason I DID use the hood pins is cause someone hit and ran my car like 1.5 years ago, and the CF hood just wouldnlt latch 100%. Stock hood had no problem latching. Daystar hood pins guys! Look amazing, check em out!

Got the call that front caliper is in.. another thing on the list to do this weekend when it will finally wake up from its winter slumber.

See if I can put more than 177km on it this season.
