Nice - I built these engines in Lafayette, IN... That's a Caterpillar 3600 Series engine.

Too many of those to list. Those were the "medium" sized turbos. There was one step bigger for the high performance diesel.. 8000+ HP @ 1500rpms :D ROFL

The few days I did turbo assembly we were sent one of these turbos wondering WTF was in the shed they were trying to call a box. Well our manager who was about to start working somewhere else decided to open it and check it out.

I got to climb inside it before they sent it back:D

This one is awesome, I love the Holset in the FP housing, can't wait to see how it does on the track.

Just curiosity, whats the largest bolt on turbo?

Largest journal bearing DSM bolt-on turbo I've seen available is a BW S366, however this is not the same S366 that exists in a T4 twin-scroll housing. BEP uses a smaller turbine to fit inside the DSM bolt-on turbine housing, so the bottom line is the 80+lb/min compressor can never get close to it's potential in a DSM bolt-on housing.

Largest ball bearing DSM bolt-on turbo I've seen available is the FP DSM88HTA, which was used on the current stock 6-bolt HP record holder: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/dyno-talk/389241-621whp-553tq-stock-block-ostar-motorsports.html

Guess what this is.....
