Painted Valve Covers [Merged 11-8]

I have had 3 customish valve covers over the years.

The first was this Powder coated one that fades from black to red. Its real dirty in this pic, but looked great when clean.

Next was this valve cover that was stripped of all paint. I used an automotive paint stripper. A few hours, a brush and some water and it ended up looking like this. I really liked this on too.

The current valve cover is this one. Its painted like Tylers. Its a paint called Graphic Effects or something like that. Notice the custom ghost Mitsu diamond in the center?

I would really like to do something custom with the next cover. I'd like to shave some of it but also modify the "2000" to say "2300" considering I have a 2.3L.

Onyx Black Urethane with 3 coats of clear, with sanded and polished letters. The purple was a custom mix that was left over from a previous customer, and all accessories on the motor are painted that color. (Pullies, brackets, fuel rail, etc...)

TRG coating black chrome with the clear coat, the clear coat likes to bubble a little when the engine is hot but it settles back down once it cools. :rocks:
