All runs were done on 93 octane + 50/50 methanol.

Here is a 10.62 @ 135 run. Boost dropped in 4th gear and I lost lots of mph and ET. I didn't even hit full boost by the finish line. I think its because I slid towards the wall and lifted off the gas and shifted slow into 4th.

This is a 10.31 @ 140 run. 60ft was 1.72 or something like that. I gotta figure out why I'm so slow on the 60ft on M&H slicks.

10.38 @ 143. About the same 60ft. 112mph in the 1/8th.

And here is where I busted the yoke and joint. I think they are original with lots of miles and abuse on it. I tried to John Force 60ft the crap out of it on the staging brake, but it broke after shifting into 2nd gear believe it or not.

I'll upload the slips later, they are in my car. I know I did 6.7 @ 112 in the 1/8th and 60fts in the low 1.7's.

I was the fastest in the DSE class with a few guys running 10.6's and the car was getting faster and faster as I made more adjustments. I made it to the final 4 and broke the yoke.

Boost was 36psi. Car weighs 2800 without me in it.

Big thanks to Tim Zimmer for helping me out with my clutch situation a few weeks ago. Sorry that you got peer tech'd out of the class. I was hoping to line up with you!

Also, big thanks to Ed and Joe Pettit from RedJackRacing. Joe will be building me a new manifold for my new setup that will help me get into the 9's. the S366 will be coming off and I'll be switching back to a Garrett DBB setup.

I can't believe you only pulled 1.7 60' I had the same with cooper zeon all season tires.

I know. It was my first time out on slicks and my first time at the track in a while.

I was kinda rushed into racing and qualifying. My 60fts were getting better and better as I adjusted the suspension, tire pressure, and driving method. But I only made 5 or 6 passes.

It was also my first time with the staging break. Tires still spin in 1st a bit too. Im going to check the alignment this week.

Car felt fast to me thru the 60ft, but when I got my timeslip, I was like

The diffusers don't yell sleeper to me. Maybe its because nothing about 1gs yells sleeper to me. They vulgar just look faster than 2gs. 10.3 is impressive on pumpgas. Props man!

Great runs! Saw that drive shaft fall out the bottom and could only think "been there done that!". Snapped one last year, sometimes they just get weak and give up, right at the 1-2 shift for me as well. Although I think mine must've been alot weaker then yours haha! I've been told it takes a minute to get used to slicks, what psi did you have them at?

I had them at 15psi, which apparently was enough to snap the yoke, but not enough to impress the ladies with a good 60ft.

LOL Was thinking the same thing.

Congrats Drew...great runs!

Hey Craig, remember when his drive shaft dropped out and I said it was ironic because his license plate was BrokenTsi and when they pushed him back out it was V8 Killer and I was like :ohdamn:. I was thinking about his user name which is BrokenTsi. Just so you know I wasn't completely lost :D

Congrats on your times and sorry about the breakage, it was a very inconvenient times as you had a good chance to take the class win.

Any chance you will be attending Mitsubishi/evo day @ e-town in October. I would love to see the car run in person.

Congrats on the times! I didn't even realize it was you! I broke my tcase on the first round of qualifing and pretty much just said screw it. Although I did go to the track friday for t&t and managed to pull off a 9.95 @ 137mph with a 1.42 60' on e.t. street radials with 30psi in them!!!

Damn, what part of Tim's car didn't meet requirements for DSE?

I think someone complained about him not having a passenger seat.... IMO there were cars in classes that didn't fit in all over the place. If I would have known they weren't really rules to classes I would have entered eliminator.

Yeah, I plan on running at that event. I can't seem to find any real info on it, do you have a link about this event?

OMG, automagic FTW. Please don't enter DSE class, LOL.

Only the front seat and exhaust really.

Replace the D-shaft, lower the psi, hit some 9's

I'll be up and running Wednesday night!

How do you like racing on the QM gear drive clutch? Is it tough to 60-ft decently with it?

I bought one last year, buit won't be able to even get it installed until sometime next year.

Its very easy to use. The clutch never smells after a launch. The car will shift into gear no matter what RPM.

I just need more time to dial in the tire pressure and suspension, and perhaps some more practice. I'm trying to figure out what I need to do for better 60fts. Anti-lag perhaps?

The only thing that my car isn't legal for dse class is that I have nitrous but it is only to get it on the stall and spooled up out of the hole. I am not using it down the track....

What tire pressure were you running? I can't see your vids (at work right now) to see how bad weight transfer is, but strapping the front suspension seems to help everyone cut a better 60.

I ended up with keeping them at 15psi. As I dropped them down more, 60fts were getting better, but one time I bogged the launch and went 10.96 so I turned up the 2-step a little bit. By then, it was time for eliminations, and I didn't want to screw around with the car anymore because it was running fast times.

Yeah. I'm still amazed that it snapped the way it did and left the transfer case plugged with no oil on the track. :)

I once snapped the output shaft inside the case. Drove home FWD, yoke and joint were fine.

I just found out that my 60ft was 1.61 on the video that I broke the u-joint. Could have been a low low 10 second run.
