So last week we did some mods for the Auto so my Wife Juvy could race it. Drag tires, Break pedal mods and the best mod that she is 80lbs less then me:)

It almost more fun to watch her race then doing it my self.

Here is her slips and or break pedal mod :)

Basic mods on car.

Still the same stock Auto and converter. We did add a shift kit but I dont think it really did any thing over just having the blue wire mod.

Combo as of now.

-ER 2.3 (Eagle Wiseco) 9.0
-HKS 272 (old School )
-Stock EVO beehive springs
-light ER head port work
-ETS race FMIC
-ER Cold air intake
-1000cc injectors
-DSM Link V3 Speed Density
-255hp fuel pump
-Ported EVOIII O2 Housing and Exhaust manifold
-3in Down Pipe only
-Stock Intake manifold

Other post on its last time out.

What you're squeezing out of that turbo is nothing short of amazing.

Nice work.

E85, right?

Yes E85 fuel.

That is freaking awesome for a car that does not have many mods, just good old fashion tuning and good driving. congrats

Congrats! Heading toward 9's...............on a stock appearing turbo is awesome:thumb:

:applause:

Pretty amazing what the OEM driveline will take when you don't have the initial shock of dumping a clutch!

Congrats!

:hellyeah:

What I wanna know is why they don't just throw a turbo matched to the motor on that thing and see what it will really do. Are you competing in some sort of stock appearing turbo class? I'd bet the back pressure is insane on that thing.

Still... fun to watch!

Wow I'm really impressed, Good job! If my trans blows up this season I'm definitely going to put an auto in the car.

you guys at ER makes it look so easy. hahahaha
Good job Lucas, Ill be calling you next week are so to drop my car to install a new clutch, Ive tryed to talk with you on the dyno day but you were very busy.

That's impressive. That 16g is no joke. These videos make me want to keep my auto and mod it.

Thanks for the props.

Sorry Marcelo for not having time was a crazy day on Saturday.

Well we have Jeffs auto that has ran a 8.9 on the auto to show what they can do.

Not the 8.9 video but a one form a few mons back
YouTube - Sacramento CMI best pass of the day SpeedFactory VS EnglishRacing 9.2@173 9.3@151

Also anything about the combo could be a snow ball effect. Any bigger turbo and the stock stall wont work so well. If it starts making more hp the Over drive on the stock trans will be a bad idea and reving the 2.3 much past 8000rpm I dont like so much. Plus the the head would need different springs and a different intake manifold. Plus there is noting more fun then beating big turbo cars with my little turbo.

Maybe I am getting old but I like to race every time the track is open just for fun. This is a DSM that can do that with low operating cost.

Great stuff, I guess the wife will be making the first 9 sec pass :)

Just got back from the track and a 1G with a 16g was going consistent 11.50's all day....I love these cars!

Watching her beat the Lambo was even better!! And the guy has put his car up for sale since the race on Saturday!! Great job Juvy, sorry to see your car go down tho Lucas.

He's posted the weight a bunch on the other posts.... It's no heavy weight!

2670lbs

2850lbs with him in it.

Thanks for the props.

What was done to Jeffs auto?

Makes sense. I always liked launching easy and making up for it on the big end. Seems like I broke less parts that way. I ran a 4 speed OD auto with 2.73 gears in my big turbo car. The turbo loved all the extra load the gears put on it! :D

Are you having to shift into OD to make the 129-130 traps? How tall of a tire are you running? Wonder if you could drop down to a 15" rim and run some 27" slicks/DR's all around :hmm:
