How'd you get the t-case piece out of the yoke? Mine was jammed in there soo bad I had to weld a chain to it and use a slide hammer to get it out.

As for the output shaft in the yoke his and mine pulled right out. I just put a vise grip on it. I did break one before and it was a pita to get out. I just put a vise grip on the output shaft right up against the yoke and sorta pryed it out with the vise grip.

, mine was broke at like a 45 so it pushed it in really hard, then broke the shaft again . I think that means I won that day.

Congrats on the pass. I would like to know what solution you come up with for the springs. I have been interested in dealing with the weight transfer (squatting issue) as well. I have yet to find a spring to allow good rates without dropping the car. Of course coilovers and hypercoil springs will give you a ton of options but let me know what you come up with.

As for changing the title, click edit on your first post and then hit go advance. It should be your 2nd line and you can alter the title. Some sections have time limits on editing so if you do not see the edit button, that is why.

I have some evo8 struts and springs I will play around with and maybe put some DSM lowering springs on them, haven't been too focused on that aspect yet though. Power came first

For my car, it was all in timing retard at the line and making sure the two step turns off immediately when I let off the brake. Allows me to leave at 3250 rpm and near 20psi.

Over the winter I'll set up the car so boost is limited at the line(instead of rpm) so I can finely adjust what psi the car leaves at depending on my tires/track conditions/drivetrain strength . Imagine a wastegate on the upper IC pipe that is controlled by a boost controller, tired into a solenoid controlled by the brake switch. Dial in the boost off the line when the brake is pressed through a controlled boost leak, immediately(or even have a tunable close rate) slam the boost leak shut to let boost quickly ramp to whatever I'm running. Timing will still be retarded when the brake is pressed so rpm doesn't have to get very high to reach the desired launch psi.

I won't end up using an external wastegate but it will function the same.

This way I can get away from a fuel cut launch limiter which still sucks in the end for consistency(boost still bounces around) and tune ability for an auto. 250 rpm increments are a big jump when you're only leaving in the 3000rpm range. Hopefully get consistent 1.5's on street tires and into the 1.3's on radials with less drivetrain issues. Excited to find out!

I am planning on using the studder box (vss based) to control launch rpm. So far it is working, except I am pulling through the brakes. (4 pot gto calipers & hawk pads)

I also think it might be possible to wire the base timing to the brake switch for torque control when launching.

I'm currently using base timing at launch, and have it set at 0 BTDC and adjusted my normal timing map to compensate(+5, just have to remember that it's not face value). VSS launch control didn't work well for me at all, it tends to tap the limiter once or twice as you roll out.

I think he said his base timing map was +5 across the board so i guess that's the same as having the belt it self set.

So how did you wire up it up to watch for the brake instead of clutch switch? Link?
