Thanks everyone. Overall it was a shitty event for us. We had issues after the first run with excessive blowby that overfilled our catch can. It must have got some on the brakes cause the car wasn't holding on the stall after that. Because of that we red lit in the first round. And it did it again when we tried to turn it up after that just to see what we could run in test and tune. So yes we ran a solid 8 for a new personal best but just have to get these few more little bugs worked out.
This is just the start of this season so expect to see much more from us! I'll get our video up once we get back to Oklahoma. Thanks again for all the props everyone!
It was actually having a little excessive blowby since the video with the 9.2 pass but we figured then it was just cause of the new motor not being broke in all the way. But since then it's actually gotten worse so now we are thinking maybe the head gasket is to blame. We were running a SCE Titan copper gasket for the first time and are kinda iffy on it. It's not a huge issue though and we should have it fixed this week even if the short block has to be reringed.
Congrats Darren and crew!
Planning to be at Bella Rose on March 11th for IFO?
