This is probably a dumb question, but what is the part called that holds the front suspension in place and bolts up to the knuckle in a 1g? Does anyone know where i can find this part? :hmm:

You can drop it off at a collision shop, and pay thousands of dollars.

or just buy replacement parts..the control arm is $30..the frame can be found easily...the fwd rear hubs are a dime a dozen..post in the classifieds or on craigslist youll find all those parts easily.

Sure but I'm no doctor, and if I had a big hole in my chest, and I didn't know my heart from my liver, I wouldn't go ask on the internet what that internal organ was that's hanging out of my chest. Then I certainly wouldn't go out and try to purchase one and install it myself.

That's why I said colission shop. They may want to pull some unseen bend out of the chassis before they put the replacement rear subframe on. Without a frame rack and all the associated measuring tools, there's just no way to know.

this is on the passenger side door. it is broken and need to get a new one. but i dont know the proper name of the part

I normally find interior parts by searching

Eclipse Black

Eclipse Tan

Eclipse Brown

People always have different names for crap on there...

I seen that part by putting in 99 eclipse driver

I've been looking for a replacement for a couple parts. The problem is, I don't know what to call them.

#1 The center light thing, with the Mitsubishi or Eagle logo on it.

Just need to know what to call them, so I can buy 'em. :D

Also, if you feel inclined to leave a link to someplace I can buy these, that would be much appreciated

the metal piece? are you referring to the rad support or bumper support? http://www.jmfabrications.com/store/products/1G-DSM-Race-Bumper.html
headlight center section? http://www.dsmparts.com/customer/product.php?productid=1429&cat=120&page=

hope that helps. googling "1g dsm bumper support" and "1g dsm center headlight section" yielded the above results
FYI the 2nd pic you have shows nothing about what you are talking about.

There is a flat metal bracket that runs along the bottom of the bumper on 1g's and 2g's to keep it firm. I would call it a bumper support, i don't think that there is a specific name for it really. The middle piece is refereed to as a grille.

my 2g bumpers have had no such metal support on the bottom portion.. :idontknow:
