This is probably a dumb question, but what is the part called that holds the front suspension in place and bolts up to the knuckle in a 1g? Does anyone know where i can find this part? :hmm:

The metal piece is labeled as a Front Bumper Lower Plate in ASA. For this bumper/front end, the part number is MB528933. Also note that this had accompanying side pieces, which are both MB528936.

For the bumper/front end pictured in the original post and fixed headlight models, the part number is MB867898.

The "grille" is also referred to as a front garnish.

For the support bar on the bottom I just went to menards got a piece of angle aluminum cut wedges in it to bend it and riveted it on I'm pretty sure it'd be chapter and it works out perfect for me

Hey so I an reconverting my front end from an avenger front end back to an eclipse front end. This is on a 2ga and I am going to a 2gb front end. Now I have the parts, radiator support everyting installed. But don't have the piece that connects the top of the 2gb bumper cover to the radiator support. I want to get it but what the heck is the name of it? I think its a plastic piece. It connects those two parts and the hood latch sits in the middle of this part. Any helps is awesome thanks.

Thank you. Didn't try there. Was on multiple mitsubishi part sites and saw diagrams of it but of course even though they list it in the diagram no where did it say what it was called. Thanks again guys.

So of course I ask this question because I have been looking at junkyards for a month or two. Then go to Picknpull today because they had two 2gb's just dropped off a few days ago and both of them have the part. Go Figure. Thanks again.

Anyone can explain to me what this part is? found it near the alternator. not sure where to connect it or anything.

hello i recently got my 2g head back from the shop after a timing belt destroyed it and if you've ever taking anything to a machine shop you know that they usually give u a box or bag of your old parts. well i was going threw my box of dead lifters and bent valves and found two little pieces that i cant identify. Ive never seen them before in my previous builds although this is my first 7 bolt Ive rebuilt. i'm guessing they came from my HLA pressure regulator. but i just want to find out for sure so ill post some pictures. thanks

I have never seen those pieces before....they remind me of dowel pins, though those are angled...or possibly they got warped somehow.
