This is probably a dumb question, but what is the part called that holds the front suspension in place and bolts up to the knuckle in a 1g? Does anyone know where i can find this part? :hmm:

........actually it would work due to the fact that as soon as you exit boost you are in vacuum, usually heavy vacuum. I ran my 1G GSX like this for over a year without any negative effects.

No.

It will not be OK.

The line needs to have a relief valve to bring the WG back.
Other wise, it will maintain open.

Add a Manual Boost Controller, Or put back the Stock Boost Controller.

i have one that came with the car, how do i know if it still works? im sure it does though...when i hook it up which nipple goes to the j-pipe and which nipple goes to the wastegate nipple? thanks for the help man

alright then, thanks a lot man, tomorrow i'm going to hook it up how you told me...the previous owner told me he had the car boosted to 30psi and he sounded serious but who knows, i'm going to try to lower it to around 12-14:thumb:

i have a 14b right now, he took out the turbo in "which he was running on 30 psi", idk if he was blowing smoke but he was serious though, which makes me wonder if my engines internals are capable of holding 15-20psi...i would fill in my mods but i'm not too sure on what my car has, all i know if just an aftermarket bov, fmic, turbo timer, boost gauge, and safc

i checked my injectors and they are stock, i guess he took aftermarket ones out, how will i know if my fuel pump is stock? how can i check if they are rewired?

The middle nipple goes to the WG.
The bottom nipple goes to the turbo.

Also, What (XiKeiyaZI) said is correct.

The only thing is that it will not be a fast shot (WG).

what do you mean it won't be a fast shot?

also my j-pipe isn't stock but it has a nipple on it in which i can hook up the WG line to

i found this nipple on my intake the other day and was told to just cap it, i did but what i really would like to do it hook it where it should be hooked up with:D, does anyone know where it should go?

i also want to hook the nipple from my wastegate to my j pipe, and it's not the stock j-pipe w/o an mbc, this will work right?

on the stock intake tube, there's 2 holes. one hole goes from there to the nipple on the left of the valve cover. most people generally put breather valves/filters/catch cans there because it lets out oil which then gets into the intake, which get into the turbo. the other hole goes to the pcv valve i believe which is right next to the charcoal cannister underneath the battery. this is for emission purposes.

as for a hose from the wastegate to the j-pipe, there SHOULDN'T be a nipple on the j-pipe? what turbo are you running first of all?

That's where the OEM boost control solenoid vents back into the intake. If you're not using the BCS, this will need to be capped otherwise you're drawing in unmetered airflow.

You'll have to drill and tap one of your intercooler pipes or the j-pipe itself for a pipe nipple. Not a big deal at all.

i have a 14b turbo...ok because one of my i/c pipes has a nipple on it that has been capped and that's where i want to hook up the hose from the wastegate nipple, i just want to be sure that its ok to hook them two up w/o an mbc, i have an mbc but idk if it works or at what boost its set

sorry i wanted to know where exactly the intake nipple went, and wanted to make sure it was ok to hook up the WG to the i/c pipe w/o an mbc before i did it...i was told the WG wasn't going to be a "fast shot" do you know what that means?

You could have just added the pics to the other thread.

Hooking up the wastegate from your j pipe or tubo housing is more than safe. You.will only run on wastegate pressure, from 8-10 psi depending on the wastegate.
I don't know what "fast shot" means.

yea i tried that but it kept giving me an error message and it wouldn't post them, sorry...ok but you recommend hooking up my mbc instead of nothing? yea in the older thread that's what one of the replies was that it wouldn't be a "fast shot (WG)"

If you don't have a boost gauge you don't need a boost controller.
Just put a hose from your wastegate to the j pipe. If the j pipe doesn't have a nipple drill one to the j pipe like Justin said. This is the best way to measure boost.

:nono: No need to make multiple threads.

As stated in your last one, the one that does not connect to your VC breather is, by stock designed, used for your Boost Control Solenoid. Now, if you no longer have your BCS you simply cap that line and run a hose from the nipple of your waste gate to the J pipe on your turbo, the intake manifold, or your intercooler piping. Basically any boost source BESIDES your Blow Off Valve hose. Doing this will keep your boost levels at the stock waste gate level, which is perfectly safe, especially for someone unfamiliar with the system.

This port on the intake manifold needs to be plugged, otherwise you're going to create a lean condition.

on the stock intake tube, there's 3 holes. Fixed.

Quoted for truth.

Muchos Gracias. I was thinking about it earlier today. I was thinking to myself earlier today at work, "Crap...if the boost source on a stock t25 joins with the wastegate then goes to the stock bcs...then where does it go from there...damn there's 3 holes on the stock intake"

Meh, I'm just happy to be running a FP intake soon LOL :p

what is the adjustable rod on the bottom of the picture called? anyone know what size too?

I would like to use a similar one to brace my turbo to the block somehow.

I see the rod ends here;

Left Hand Male Mild Steel Rod Ends at The Chassis Shop

any help would be appreciated.
