I think what you're in need of is a 90* silicone coupler that reduces from 2.5" to your stock j-pipe. These and many other couplers can be found at frozenboost.com

i dont know what it is it the stock turbo ill take a pic later

You are the most unspecific person I've ever dealt with.. Saying the same thing over and over again and not even responding to us trying to help.. You sound possible drunk?:barf:

Help us help you man...

you may also want to look around like dsmgraveyard or and supporting vendors that sell used parts would be cheaper than going to the dealership just for thought

Yeah thats what im doing. Hopefully I can find one. I need this part and a few other things to get her running before school starts in a week. :banghead:

Does anyone have a picture of what it exactly looks like?

What is the plate called behind the crankshaft sprocket. I have a 95 talon tsi awd auto. There is a sensor bolted over the edge of the plate. Guess it counts crank rotation? I think my balance shaft belt broke an bent it. The were wear marks on the back side of the plate. The noise is deff coming from the crank rotation area. It's this plate or poss crank bearing? Also before I pulled the car apart the noise would go away off ideal and would only tick at ideal.

Not installed backwards. My balance shaft belt may have bent it I'm thinking. I'm just going to try an find a new one

Will the car start with out the plate so I can see if the noise is gone

its the metal plate thats sandwiched between the block and tranny housing? i cant think of what to call this or where to find one. it has a hole for the starter, and it goes half way around the bell housing.. my mechanic is putting the engine back in for me after i finally got it back from machinist and says this piece is too bent and cant be repaired, personally i dont believe so but if i can find one quick and for not alot of money, thats a hell of alot easier.
thanks

exactly, i said wtf when he told me. im about fed up with this guy anyway. between him and the machinist.... jeez. i literally bought this car 2 and a half months ago, drove it on a trailer, drove it off and have only seen it a few times since. well, i hope the finished product is worth all the $$. thanks guys

Hey guys, I was checking around my engine yesterday for any leaks and i came across this. Where i have my index finger, there is a vacuum leak, only sometimes though, for some strange reason? it has a cap with a mitsubishi logo on it but with the cap on you can still hear the leak. I was wondering if you knew what it is, and if there is supposed to be there a vacuum hose instead of a cap? If there should, where else do i hook it up? thanks

The cap doesn't do anything. Either put a vacuum cap on it, bypass the solenoid, or locate a different one.
