I slowly make progress preapring parts for when its time to assemble all i have to do is pull parts from the shelve. Here are some pieces that were vapor honed and I wanted to preserve the aluminum look so I got them powder coated in clear.

Dude that is so sick! Very very nice

Been tinkering with the stereo for the last few days. When I bought this car, it came with a 12 year old Panasonic radio and the harness was pre-installed. It had speakers, but I had no clue if it worked. Few days ago I plugged it in just for giggles, and to my amazement the headunit itself worked! Only the right sided speakers worked though, both front/rear left ones were silent. After digging, I discovered 1) speakers were all upgraded! 2) both left side speakers were just unplugged from damaged wiring.

Since then, I've fixed that and got the screws needed to mount the headunit to the oem radio brackets, and now...I did this!

All this stereo stuff may be 12 years old...but it honestly sounds phenomenal, especially for free.99! I am so tickled pink by the fact that this just plugged in and works and sounds great. The last time I had a DSM with any kind of working Stereo was when I was like 17-18 years old in Denver. So happy right now. I am also extremely pleased with myself at how cleanly it's installed. This is legitimately the first time I've touched ANY kind of stereo system. Ever.

I slapped the battery charger on the Red 90 Talon. I accidentally left the drivers door cracked open, leaving the interior light on for a few days. Hoping I can go play in some snow that is being predicted in the next few days

Drove it to work. I know I’ve posted it before, but it continues to amaze me how the car improves each day. Driving with a working, decent stereo in a DSM is something that’s gonna take some getting used to. It almost feels unnatural. Today for example, I drove the entire way to work without it on. Lmao. But the fact it’s there is nice.

Next up: A/C!

Worked on my rear control arms. Glued on the toe eliminator kit and reinforced the area where I cut off the pinch weld to make room for wide wheels (probably overkill).

I also blocked off the ABS sensor hole to keep water out of there.

Yesterday I installed new valve cover bolt grommets and cleaned/flowed the injectors.

Was curious if any of you n/t guys have an oem looking replacement for the valve cover to intake manifold hose.

I was gonna go to advanced/autozone and see what 5/8 ID hose they had with a molded 90. Currently just have heater hose on it with worm clamps and it looks like shit IMO. Thanks.
