Just tore into this project I had out of sight for a few years. Trying to figure out what's all been touched.

The block your going to fill i am guessing by that bucket. Make sure and check cylinder bore's for roundness and front case area. The fill made my bore's out of round again. This also somehow made my front of block where oil pump bolts warp. I had to deck that too, i have not seen this happen to others so maybe i was just unlucky with that.

It's getting machined with the torque plate after it cures.

Drove it to work. I love this damn drama queen. Lol.

But sadly the valve seals are getting worse. Now it smokes pretty decently at first start even after a short 12 hours. Sigh.

Cleaned the engine bay a little, and made an extremely short video of some turbo noises. Not a full pull or any kind of rip, but enough to make turbo and BOV noises!

Like the video itself says in the description, the most I went was 1/3rd throttle and only briefly. Windows were down so you can hear the exhaust more. With windows up it's like 90% turbo noises, almost can't even hear the exhaust. Love it!

I DROVE her!!!
I had a C7 'Vette, Red with Black Trim, come buy, throw it in neutral and revved the piss out of her. That is a call out around here.....
I went to the shop again, to go hunt, no luck in the Red Talon, BUT...my son saw where it resides on his way home from work today.
Let the fishing season begin!!!

I despise when people do this. It's usually bros in slow AF trucks that do this to me, and it makes me want to invite a rotary friend over, remove his exhaust, and let him do an anti-lag/two-step in front of their house in return.

The "locals" no it's "my road" and won't call the popo, so I just roll with it. It's a good place to make a hit because you can see for well over a mile and NO TRUCKS seem to ever try to impress us.

I am infinitely envious.

Every day that passes by means Florida gets more and more full. Honestly any kind of flat one way/closed end road almost immediately gets bought up and over developed. Feels bad man.

I slowly make progress preapring parts for when its time to assemble all i have to do is pull parts from the shelve. Here are some pieces that were vapor honed and I wanted to preserve the aluminum look so I got them powder coated in clear.
