Well, thanks to Brian (snowborder) I was finally able to assemble these damn things. Us simple minded folk need pictures... :D

Can't wait to get them under the car and see how they perform.

Gofer, what bump stops are those? Mine are oem and cut about an inch.

Can someone draw a good line to cut my trunk out if i want to use the stock fender well plastucs bolt to, to bolt a sheet of aluminium in, or brackets for a fuel cell.

Someone circle the best area?

It's a "helper" spring, designe to collapse as soon as any impact is on it, it's basically just to keep things tight in the spring area.

You can see it pretty well in these photos, the one with the opening has a "ghosted" outline of the F*F cover so you can see the line.

Gofer, is that a spring on top of the spring in your suspension? Never seen it done that way.
Like urban said, it's a helper spring. I'm not familiar with the theory behind running one but, I've got'em. LOL

No. For now just cut to the 90* lip that is the spare tire well. You'll notice that up against the back of the trunk there are two "shelves" that the delete cover will sit on.

I'd take pictures of mine for you but my car's off at the fabricators getting an exhaust made to clear this subframe. If you can wait a few days I'll have it back and can take a "sky" shot of my so you know exactly where to cut.

:dsm:

Like this dude. In the "orange" lines that's supposed to represent a metal bracket that supports the bumper in the center with two bolts, be careful not to cut it.

Also be careful that you don't cut into your exhaust/exhaust hangers/fuel filler neck/subframe/sway bar/etc. You get the idea. I started the cut by popping out the small rubber grommets and worked around making a small hole in the bottom so I could see what I may hit. Then went a bit wider each time, I think I went around it 4 times before my final cut...

The F*F cover is made from .090 (3/32) aluminum so it's pretty thick, you'd probably want a 4'x4' piece. For the sheet alone you're looking at ~$100 and the local water jet charges $25 to cut, I think I paid $150 for mine plus $25 to powdercoat from F*F.

:dsm:

The F*F cover uses those factory screws to hold it down and two of the stock 12mm bolts on both sides of it, they're towards the back of the hatch on either side. Not sure what their purpose is from the factory but you can put them to good use with that cover.

My car is loud as shit but I still used foam around the edges, Home Depot special. Tubular Foam Pipe Insulation

Okay so putting a 2g maf in my 1g i looked up on the vfaq but i cannot figure out how to wire this up i need help pls if someone can send me a pic of how to wire this and will an evo x fuel pump work in 1g dsm

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5kAeaPhe_g]MVI 1230 - YouTube[/ame]

A quick breakdown:
Arduino controlled via custom signal converter board
NXP PCA9685 PWM controller
275 Philips SuperFlux LEDs (HPWT-DH00-G4000) per side
7 individually controllable segments per side, each with a custom Sharp PQ09RD21 based driver
I2C RGB 16x2 LCD + 5+1 Keypad for remote control

I'm adding a span of 14 LEDs to the instrument cluster that will be paralleled off the power supplies so that I can monitor the sequence up front.

Finally got my VRSF FMIC kit installed yesterday. I painted and baked the intercooler and pipes in flat black high temp paint, gotta love that black on black look. No HP or anything was effect by painting and baking. Came out great, some issues with install but it went together good and the GSX is running strong thanks to Allen and his team at Strictly Import Motorsports (SIM) in Kalamazoo, MI.

Im jealous. All ive been doing is driving my dsm. Today I was cruising in 3rd at about 2500 rpm when a big ole pickem up truck settled in front of me, so I romped on it, and passed at about 5000 rpm still in 3rd,, what a rush! Thats a good roll on situation, no lag, and the pipes and bov just sing those pretty wooshing and hissing sounds at the shift... yeah,, just drivin .

I weighed my car on the way home from a buddys tonight.. Pretty sure I dont believe the scale is calibrated correctly.. with me in the car and 40 miles on a tank of fuel, the scale said 2840.. I tried to take a picture to prove it but my phone wouldnt focus on the thing..

The only weight "reduction" Ive done is cut out the spare tire well. There is no way I lost 400lbs from the last time I weighed the car by cutting that out and deleting a few wire connectors.. Full interior, awd swap, heavy turbo setup.. No way that thing is right!
